Season 5, Episode 2
'Desperate Times'

"THE GENERATORS WILL HAVE TO WAIT." Bobby said as he and the team looked up to see a helicopter balancing on the side of the hospital's roof.

"Window washing cables." Eddie said as the team got onto the roof. "This thing's holding on by a thread, Cap."

"118, I want ropes, webbing and heavy winch on the rooftop, double-time." Bobby ordered.

"We're not waiting for any of that, right?" Buck asked.

"No." Bobby replied. "First thing we do is get those rotors turned off."

"Hen, Buck, you check that cabin and see what we got." Bobby continued. "Eddie, Rylin, you're with me."

Once the rotors were turned off, Buck was quit to shout, "It's slipping!" Buck, Bobby, and Rylin all tried to grab the helicopter and pull it back. However, it slipped just enough for Eddie to start dangling out the window.

"Eddie, Hen." Rylin called out. "You guys okay?"

"We're okay!" Hen shouted. "We're okay."

"Let's get the pilot out of here." Bobby ordered just before Buck climbed back inside, retrieving the pilot. Chim was quick to come back with a backboard to help the paramedic out of the helicopter.

"All set, Cap!" Eddie shouted once Eddie secured the board to a big hose. The team members on the roof began pulling.

"Wait!" the paramedic stopped. "The heart!"

"This is a transplant flight!" he added after seeing Eddie and Hen's confused expressions.

"Worry about that later." Bobby shouted. "Let's get him out."

"Easy, easy!" Bobby said as the paramedic was being pulled out. Just as they got him out, the helicopter began to slip even more. The team moved quickly and helped Hen and Eddie out of the helicopter.

"The winch is here, Cap." Buck said as Rylin noticed Bobby was starting to harness himself up.

"No time for that." Bobby said. Hesitantly, the team helped Bobby move into the helicopter to get the heart.

"I got it!" Bobby shouted after the team continuously yelled at him to hurry up. Just as he did, the wire holding the helicopter snapped. The helicopter fell to the ground as Bobby stayed dangling on the side of the hospital.

"Get him up!" Buck ordered.

"That was amazing." a doctor said as she watched the team help Bobby. "Any chance you can do a transplant in the dark?"

"We'll get the generators running." Eddie laughed.

"And I bet by the time we do, the city will have the power back on." Buck said.

"Can't we go to Buck's or something?" Sarah asked as she walked out of her bedroom covered in sweat. Ever since the city-wide blackout, there had been an insane heatwave.
