Season 3, Episode 15/16

"Hayden!" the team took turns shouting a little boy's name whom had gotten lost while playing in an open field with his sister.

"Eddie what is it?" Rylin asked as she watched Eddie search through the garden.

Instead of answering Rylin, he shouted, "Hey, guys! Over here!"

The team helped Eddie move a bunch of stuff. Soon enough, they had found a hidden well.

"We're gonna need a visual." Bobby said. Once they got a visual, the team was able to locate the boy.

"So how do we get him out?" Buck asked as the Commissioner explained the details of the well and how it would be difficult to get the boy out.

"We dig." Bobby said.

"We set up a drill rig south of the well. We use it to dig a parallel tunnel, wider, slightly deeper, then we go down. Punch across by hand to access the well. Hopefully, we can pull the boy out."

"Punch across by hand?" Buck asked. "Feels like a lot of distance to cover when you're 40-something feet down."

"We drill our tunnel any closer and we risk compromising the integrity of the well pipe."

"They're basically saying the whole thing would collapse if it cracks even the slightest bit." Rylin told Buck.

"Right on top of the kid." Eddie added.

"We need to cover the mouth of the well STAT." Bobby said as rain started pouring down. "I need trenching to divert the rainwater away from the opening. Buck, where are we at?"

"We're almost at 40 feet." Buck told Bobby. "At the rate we're going, I'd say another hour, but this rain is really gonna slow us down. Could he two, maybe even another three."

"Shoring up as we go is killing us." Eddie said.

"The ground's too unstable." Rylin added. "It'll take time."

"Time we don't have, Cap." Hen said. "The boy's been down there ten hours already. He's wet now and almost certainly hypothermic."

"It's barely a mile away." The commissioner said. "We gotta pull the plug."

"And leave the kid down there?" Rylin asked.

"We got a five-story lightning rod sitting in an empty field out here."

"It's still a mile away." Bobby said.

"It gets any closer-"

"I know." Bobby told him. "Okay, get the winch and the harnesses and once we hit depth—"

"I'll go in." Eddie said, making everyone turn their attention to him. "I'm the one that was talking to him on the radio. He knows my voice. Make sense it's me."

"What if I do it?" Rylin asked, desperately not wanting Eddie to go down there. "I'm pretty small, it'd be easier for me to get down there."
