'Confessions'

"Hey, guys!" Rylin exclaimed as she opened the door for Eddie and Chris. She had invited them and Buck over for dinner with Madison and Sarah.

Rylin's face scrunched up in confusion once she didn't see Buck in the doorway beside the Diaz boys. "Did Buck not come with you guys?"

"Ah, no." Eddie shook his head followed Rylin into the kitchen. Chris had joined Sarah and Madison in the living room. "He called me earlier saying that he was sick. He didn't tell you?"

"He did not." Rylin said as she poured pasta into a pan. "Hey, is it just me, or has Buck been acting really weird lately."

"It's Buck we're talking about here." Eddie said. "He's always been weird."

"I know that, but I don't know." Rylin sighed. "It's just that everytime that I am around him, he gets all weird. I mean, the last conversation we had was about different types of deli meat. Who the hell talks about deli meats?"

Eddie laughed. "Okay, yeah, that's weird."

"Right?" Rylin laughed. "And I can't even give him a hug when I see him because he'll cut me off and give me a high five instead."

"I think I know what's going on." Madison said as she joined Eddie and Rylin in the kitchen.

Rylin looked at her in confusion. "Sorry." Madison said with a laugh. "I overheard part of your conversation on my way back from the bathroom and I couldn't help but intervene."

"Okay, so what do you know that I don't?" Rylin asked her, suddenly interested in the teenager's assumptions.

"He finally realized his feelings for you." Madison hummed.

Rylin nearly choked on her soda at Madison's words. "What?" she laughed.

"No, I get it." Eddie said, agreeing with Madison. "He's been avoiding you because he's trying to make himsef believe he's not into you."

"Okay, no." Rylin shook her head. "Buck is not in love with me."

"Then what else would explain his behavior towards you lately?" Madison asked.

Rylin tried coming up with ideas, but couldn't. She rolled her eyes when Eddie and Madison gave her knowing looks and immediately turned her backs to them and focused on making dinner.

Could he really be in love with her?

"All units, police, and fire RA, clear channel two." was heard over the radio as the team had just put a man in an ambulance. "Switch to Tac Channel 50. Officer on open mic in distress. Needs assistance."

"Is that Maddie?" Rylin asked as they all listened in. As they listened, they could hear what sounded like a fight between a civilian and an officer.

"727-L-30 at Studio Self Storage."

"Bobby..." Hen said once she realized who the officer that needed assistance was.
