"So she's your roommate?"I ask.Mia steps into the elevator of Havas first floor."Yea.Shes been my roommate since I've moved in here".

"I see.She seems trust worthy"I say looking forward."She is".

I glance at her and smirk."So who's this nemesis Lake told me about?".

Mia's head snaps over to me as the door opens."You must be Banks?!?"A blonde girl says.

She had bright blue eyes and a bright smile on her face.I step out of the elevator and the girl holds her hand out.I shake it and she smiles.

"No one told me you would be this handsome up close!And woah you are tall!".

I tilt my head and say "I didn't catch your name?"."It's Emilia".

I just know her name is Emilia.Apparently she is jealous of Mia and how fast she's got promoted

My hand immediately snatches out hers and I walk past her like she isn't important.Her eyes widen as Mia follows behind me.

We walk over to a conference room and I sit down in an empty chair.Victor was already there and smiles."Cutting it close,Banks"."Sorry boss"I joke.

Mia sits across from me and greets the same guy who was with her last night.I glare at him coldly and he gulps.

Emilia walks in with the older man and he smiles at me."Banks it's a pleasure to meet you.My name is Matteo Alvarez and I'm the leader of this group at Havas"."Nice to meet you"I say.

He smiles as an older man and a women walks in.He was around 50ish while she looked around my age.

"This is Paulo Francesco and he is the owner of FC Milan.And this the Pt manager Alice".

I nod my head to him and say "It's  nice to meet you both".

I shake his hand and he smiles at me."It's nice to see you give us a chance Banks.We will not do you wrong".

"I'm sure you won't.I have respect for this club".

He smiles at me and says "Well let's get down to business then.Our training camp starts in two days.Today we want you to come with us and meet the team,faculty and trainers".

I nod my head and he continues."Mia?Could you come with?Taro was asking about you".

Mia puts on a forced smile and says"Yes sir".

He stands up and says "Well let's go!".

Me,Mia,Alice,Paulo and Victor walk out of the building and he turns to us."You know where the faculty is no?We will meet you there".

Victor nods his head and motions us to follow him.I sit in the back seat with Mia.

I lean forward and say "Who the fuck is Taro and why the fuck is he asking about you?".

She rolls her eyes and says "He is your starting goalie so you should get along".

I smile and say "Ahh see little monster I didn't fucking ask you that.Who is he?".

Mia looks away and says "A guy I went in a date with"."What?!"I ask shocked.

"It was one date that Luisa begged me to go on.It ended horribly because he's just a narcissist who just talked about himself".

"Did he kiss you?Touch you?".

Mia glares at me and I hold my hands up defensively."Like I would let that man whore touch me.He tried but I walked away.He's known to be the player on the team".

I smirk and say"Well then it looks like I would have to show him his place".

Mia's eyes widen and she narrows her eyes."Banks making a first impression with the team is important".

Victor nods his head in the mirror."Mia is right you know.Whatever stupid shit he did,you need to put it aside.Team chemistry is important Banks".

I grunt and look away.We pull up to the trialing faculty and Victor stops us at the front door."I'll find parking".

I nod my head watch as he lets us out.He drives away and Mia starts walking inside the building.

I open the door for her and she murmurs a thank you.I smirk as Paulo waves us over."Great you're here!Come on some of your teammates are here".

We walk in and and I see around five of them laughing and talking to each other.One with brown hair and brown eyes looks at us and stands up.

"Ahh!Paulo!"."Nemo.Its great to see you.This is your new Midfield striker Banks Carrington Jr.".

Nemo holds his hand out and says "I'm Nemo Rivera.The captain of the team and the right winger"."Nice to meet you".

The door opens and a ginger guy with blue eyes walks in.Mia grunts and I narrow my eyes.

"Ahh so this is our new teammate.The star midfielder.You don't look like much kid"."Kid?"I hiss out.

Nemo clears his throat and says "I apologize-"."-Yea kid.You know you're only 25 compared to my 32".

"32 years old and trying to mess with a 24 year old?"I ask tilting my head.

Taro looks at Mia who frowns."What this your bodyguard?"Taro jokes.

"I'm her boyfriend".

Mia rolls her eyes and says"You are not my boyfriend"."Damn..cold burn"Taro jokes.

Mia glares at him and says "But I'd rather him be my boyfriend than you".

The rest of team laughs as Taro glares at her."You know this guy,Mia?"Nemo asks.

Mia nods her head and says "He's my ex-boyfriend"."Oh?Why exes"Taro asks.

"Taro"Paulo warns.

Why the fuck did it take him so long for him to butt in??

Taro holds his hand up and smirks at me."I think we will be good teammates..Carrington".

Great me and my stupid protectiveness for Mia.Now I have a fucking target in my back.

But it's for Mia.
Of course.Id do everything for her.

"well since you are already here how about you practice with us?"Nemo asks."I don't have my gear-".

"-The staff can provide with some.Lets see if this hype is real"Taro says smirking.

I look at Paulo and he smiles."I would also love to see for myself!Please!".

Fucking hell this guy was an idiot.Mia looks at me concerned as I nod my head."Very well".

I mean whats the worse that can happen from proving to these assholes that I was then best?

And even get to show off to Mia as well??Yea this was definitely a win in my book.
