I got out of work late and didn't have time to call Banks back.So I showed up at his apartment.

Silas stands up and walks over to us.For him to be a toddler he was a genius.He reminded me so much of Banks when we were younger.

"He adopted me!".

My eyes widen as I slowly turn to Banks.Banks looks down at Silas and says "Wow thank you for that.I really appreciate it".

He looks back up to me and says "I was calling you because it was a last minute thing"."Adopting a toddler was a last minute thing?".

I tilt my head setting my purse down."Something tells me that there is a lot of paperwork,Background checks and progressing that goes into it".

My eyes darken and clench my teeth."So something also tells me that you had this on your mind for weeks?".

He nods his head and Silas looks down."You aren't..going to make him take me back are you?".

I pinch the bridge of my nose and say "Of course not.I just..this is ..it's a lot".

Banks puts his towel on the side of his shoulder and grabs both of my hands walking me to the living room.

He sits down as Silas walks over and sits down in the ground looking at the both of us.

"Silas asked me a couple of weeks ago to adopt him.And at first I was definitely like no.Because I just wasn't ready for a child.I mean that's the whole reason we haven't had one yet"."But?".

Banks looks at Silas and smiles."I just feel this pull with him.Almost like it was fate for me to adopt him.Like he was meant to be apart of the Carrington family.I know it's last minute.Trust me baby I know.And I don't know exactly how you feel about adopting but I..just had to".

He looks at me sadly as I sigh."What do you..what do you want,Banks?".

"a family.I want us.I want us so bad.And I want Silas to be apart of that.I..I understand if you don't.But I can't leave him.Im sorry Mia".

I glance over Silas who was giving me the same puppy eyes as Banks.They may not be genetically related but I see some overlapping.

I feel him cup my face softly and I sigh."Raising..raising a toddler like this with both of our busy schedules is a lot,Banks.It was fine when it was just Chaos.But this is a child".

"I know.I know.And we will work it out.We will figure it all out together..if you let me?".

Adopting a children was out of the ordinary for Banks Carrington.

Especially something so impulsive.He's always been about having a plan and sticking to it.

His eyes brightens as Silas rushed over to hug my legs.I pick him up and sit him down on my lap."I know this is different but..could you give me a chance at being your mother?".

Silas nods his head and I smile softly."This will be new for us definitely but..I see a future with you ,Mia.No.I have a future with Mia.Even giving Silas a younger sibling".

"That..that needs to wait.Having a cat and a toddler is one thing".He kisses my cheek and says "Of course.Anything you want,Little monster".

He claps his hands and says"Now to celebrate,How about I make you dinner.Anything you want Little monster".

I glance at Silas who was still sitting in my lap."What are you in the mood for buddy?".

He thinks for a second before his eyes light up."Pasta!".

I turn my head to Banks and he smirks."Alright pasta it is.What kind baby?"."Alfredo?".

He nods his head as i pick up Silas and carry him over to the kitchen.Banks puts his apron on before smiling at me.

"See you are a natural mother.Looking as beautiful as ever"."Don't even try sugar coating me,Preppy".

I sit Silas down on the counter before he kicks his legs back and forth staring at us."So you are giving him the Carrington last name".

He nods his head and says "Personally it feels weird giving this toddler my last name before you but I promise little monster.Im putting a ring on our finger.I'll go ring shopping right now!".

I roll my eyes pressing a soft kiss on his lips."I know I'll be your wife one day,Carrington.Its no rush for it.Besides it's us..we will husband and wife in the end".

He smiles and wraps his arm around my waist."Thats right,Mrs.Carrington".

I roll my eyes as Silas claps his hands.We turn to him and I laugh softly."Right.Right.Pasta.I forgot,buddy".
