the next morning
My phone ringing wakes me up and I groan.I reach over Silas and grab my phone."Hello?".
"Is this Banks Carrington?"."Yes.This is he".
"Hi Mr.Carrington.Im Richard the guy who made your promise ring.I just wanted to let you know that it's ready for pick up today"."Like now?".
"that's correct.I mean you can come in anything today but we do close around 2pm"."Alright.Yea.I got it.Im coming now".
I hang up and get out of the bed quietly before rushing in the bathroom.I shower and walk out to see Silas staring at me."Where are you doing?".
"Wow are you my son or my father?".
He crosses his arms and I sigh."I have to pick something up"."Is it for mom is birthday tomorrow".
"I don't know".
He pauses and says "Can I come?"
."No".
"Pleaseee Dad?".
I narrow my eyes and say "you really are my twin.Fine let's just get you ready".He nods his head and rushing in the bathroom as I want to the dresser to grab his spare clothes.

"Is this a ring shop???"He says gasping.
I look down at him as he holds my hand."How do you even know what this it?"."Tv!".
I shake my head as an older man walks over."Banks?".
I nod my head and he leaves to come back with Richard."Oh?And who is this little guy?"."My son"I say.
He nods his head and bends down to Silas."Nice to meet you Buddy".
Silas smiles at him and Richard stands back up.He goes to the back of the counter and grabs a the ring.
"You were looking for a promise ring that looked like an engagement ring?".
I nod my head and say "That way people know who she is going to marry.My girlfriend is beautiful ..guys are always flirting with her".
He smiles and says "Thats all a downside to having a beautiful partner.They always have everyone's attention.But I'm sure this ring will ward those guys off".
He opens the box and my eyes go wide."This is a Solitaire Leaf Ring with Accent Stones .Just as you asked I engraved both of your birthdays on the inside of the ring.I also put the words always and forever on the outside in a tiny front.Is it everything you wanted?".
I pick up the ring and examine it.This was beautiful.I look up at him and say "Do you do engagement rings to?".
He nods his head and says "Of course,Why?"."I'll have to come back to you in a year.This is beautiful".
He bows his head and says "thank you Signor.It means a lot.Is there anything I can do for you?".
I shake my head and say "That's it".
He rings the ring up and up it in a bag before handing me the receipt."I hope she loves it"."I do too".
He laughs as I grab Silas hand and walk out of the building.
I walk to the car and put Silas in the car seat before getting in the car."Are we going back home?".
I look in the mirror and shake my head."I need to get you more art supplies right?".His eyes lighten and I fully turn around for him.
"If you want anything Silas tell Dad.Because I'm filthy rich and will give you and your mother anything and everything you want".
"Really?"."Really"I state.

I wake up to neither my boyfriend or my son beside me.I frown and sit up.I grab my phone and send him a text
Me:Where are you Preppy?
Preppy:Good morning Little monster.How did you sleep?
Me;Good but I would be better if I woke up next to my two favorite people
Preppy:I'm sorry my love.I had to pick up something.And Silas tagging along like the nosy boy he is
Me:I wonder who he got that from?
Preppy:Not me.Anyways,love.Do you want me to grab everyone breakfast while I'm out?
Me:I think we will cook something here.Just get back safety.I love you

I get up and put on my robe before walking downstairs.Clay looks up as she finishes cooking eggs."Wow you are already ahead of the game Clay".
"Hey.Someone has to.Anyways How do you like your eggs?"."Sunny side up?".
"Just like in college.Alright coming right up".
Jaiden walks out with Dahlia and smiles at me."Good morning Mia"."Morning Jai".
"How did you sleep?".I sigh and say "As much as I could with a toddler who sleeps just like his dad".
She laughs and sits down beside me on the bar stools.She leans her arms on the Island and turns her head to me.
"I'm happy for you Mia.You know giving Banks another chance".
I nod my head and say "It was simply life decisions that pulled us apart.If everything worked out the way it did I would be in London with him".
"But he's liking it in Milan?"."Well he hasn't had the best experience here besides me and Silas".
Jaiden looks at me seriously and says "I want to thank you for saving him".
I wave my hand dismissively and say "It was nothing.I would do that for him over and over again".
She smiles at me as there's a knock on the door.I walk over to see Vaughn and Lake at the door."Hi Soren!"I say.
He smiles brightly hugging me."Really bitch?"Lake hisses.
Clay gasps in the background and says "Language missy!".
I hug Lake, Vaughn,Nova and Sage as they come in.Just as im about to shut the door Jasmine and Naomi walk in with Yara.
"Damn trying to slam the door in our faces"Jasmine hisses.
I roll my eyes playfully as I hug them as well.I look in the hallway to see if Banks is coming and shut the door.
"Shouldn't Preppy be running down to hug his favorite Cousin?"Jasmine calls out.
"Him and Silas aren't here.They went out to run an errand"."His loss.He's missing out on my amazing cooking"Clay says.
"You taught her how to season Jai?".Jaiden gives her sister a look and say "Of course I did.Who do you think I am??".
Jasmine and Naomi laugh as I shake my head."You teach Banks how to season,Mia?"."Of course.Im columbian.We use seasonings all the time".
Jaiden laughs and says "How could we forget about our columbian baddie".
I nod my head confidently as Clay hands me my plate."Ooh Clay you think you can cook me something?"Vaughn asks.
"No.You should've got your family something to eat instead of trying to use your brothers food".
"Isn't that what you are doing?"Vaughn asks.
"Mommy's a Princess!"Dahlia calls out.
"Exactly..My Lia is right.I can't do it because I'm a princess".
Vaughn rolls his eyes and says "What a load of bullshit".
