I rush into the restaurant and Matteo holds his hand out.I walk over and smile at him."I hope I'm not late.I left my boyfriend's place and had to get ready at mine".

Matteo smirks and says "You don't have to say Boyfriend.I know you're talking about Banks".

"You're dating Banks Carrington the second??"

I turn my head now noticing two guys sitting across from Matteo.One was definitely the potential client Matteo was talking about the other was his agent.

"Yes.We were college sweethearts"I say.The younger guy had brown eyes and blonde hair.

I didn't know Blondes were my type until Banks, but realized that Banks was all I wanted.

I sit down and Matteo points to him.
"This is Savio Cambridge the new Defensive Winger for FC Milan".

"Welcome to the team"I say.

He smirks and says "Thank you.Your boyfriend really must be lucky"."I consider myself the lucky one".

He laughs and I order a juice and look at Savio."So your first practice with the team is tomorrow right".

He nods his head and says "I know that being the new member in the team is a hard thing but I want to ..prove to them that while they lost Alberto in the offseason I am better".

"Well that's great.We need that confidence.I think you and Banks will make a good offense and defensive duo"Matteo says."I hope so.So what's the first thing in the list".

Matteo looks at me and says"Before practice tomorrow there is an event that the team is required to go to.The owner,Paulo is very active in the community and helps the team going to a volunteer center before.It will be their first introduction to you".

He nods his head and smiles "Sounds fun.And what time is that"."Here I can send those details to your agent here".

The other man smiles and says "I am Remi nice to meet you both".I nod my head and Matteo claps his hand.

"Alright well tell us more about yourself,Savio"."I'd love to".

I didn't see Mia for the rest of the day.Apparently this new client was more important which I understood.But fuck I just..want her all the time.And I'm not meaning sexually.

"You are about to run into a tree"Benji says.

i sidestep and glances at him.I ran into him in the parking lot and he's been following beside me since.

Then again i have no problem with Benji.I just don't trust him.My lack of trust goes all the way back to my problematic and traumatic childhood.

"Is this something Paulo does all the time?"."Yea.Its a youth center he asks us to hang out at.Play futbol with them,eat and talk with the kids.Most of the kids there have pretty gruesome backstories"he says.

I nod my head and he holds the door of me."Of course you two are the last to show up"Taro says.

I ignore him and he glares at me."actually that would be me"A blonde guys says.

He walks in beside Mia and I narrow my eyes."Mia who is this?"A player asks.

"This is Savio Cambridge.Your new defensive winger".

Nemo's eyes widen as Taro growls."All these new fucking teammates.How do you expect us to have team chemistry!?".

"Language"Paulo says walk in.

Paulo glares at Taro coldly causing him to look away."Savio here is a big asset to the team just as Banks is a big asset.Its just one is offense heavy and the other is defense heavy.But now is not the time for this.Its our time with the kids so let's do that".

He walks past us and walks over to the door.Mia was still talking to Savio as I turn around.

"You okay?"Benji asks."I'm fine".

I walk through the doors and my eyes widen at all the kids that were there.They were running up to us as we walk by.Except for one.One had light brown hair and brightest blue eyes I've seen.

"That's Silas.He never talks to anyone.Its not even worth it"A guy tells me.

Something in me wanted to go over to him.Its like a felt a pull to him.One by one the kids in groups bring there attention to my teammates.

But my focus was on Silas.I walk over to him and he looks up.He had to be around 4 or 5 years old.

He narrows his eyes at me as I sit down in the ground."What do you want".

He has an American accent.Was he abandoned??

"I just can't sit here?".Silas frowns at me before turning back to his painting.

"It's a crappy painting".He freezes and looks at me."What you can't take criticism?Are you going to cry?".

"I don't cry".

I smirk and say "I used to think that too when I was younger but everyone cries".

He drops his paintbrush and says "Why are you sitting beside me.Are you here to tell me that everything will be okay?".

"No..Because everything is not going to be okay.Nothing in this world is okay".

He looks at me shocked and I say "You are American".

He nods his head and says "My parents abandoned me on the streets of Milan when I was 2".I nod my head and sit back."Their loss".

He nods and says "You are the new midfield striker for Milan".I nod my head and say"I requested a trade here to be with someone I love".

He scuffs and says "Love is nonexistent".

This is one smart kid

I smile softly and sit down on the floor beside him.

"I thought that before I met her.Shes actually here".I point to Mia who was talking to Benji and Nemo.

"That's her?"Silas asks.

I nod my head and he raises his eyebrow at me."There's no way.Shes too pretty for you".

I laugh and say "You're right.She is isn't she.But I guess I got really.really lucky".Silas turns back to me and says "Why does she like you?You're ugly".

I do a forced smile and say "You're a little shit aren't you".

He shrugs and says "They call me brutally honest"."Well.Kid I'll have you know that I am very attractive.And I had girls flocking over to me all the time".

"Why did you choose her?".I smile at him and say "She made me whole when I didn't have a heart".

He turns his attention to me and asks "Why would you not have a heart?"."Because when I was your age a bad man ripped mine out.And I had to live with that trauma for years".
