After Nemo treated all of us to dinner,we went home to relax.Or at least I thought that they would.The girls went out to celebrate leaving me and Vaughn alone with the children.Can you say awkward?
He glances at me and hands me a beer before sitting down beside me.I sigh and take a swing of it."So you're still going to keep being a dick?"I ask.
He rolls his eyes and he says "I don't know what you are talking about".
"You have been acting like this since senior year of college.What is your problem?You got beef with me or something".
He stands up and says "I hate how greedy you are.You..you don't understand what you have"."And how do you know that?Are you reading my thoughts".
"It's in your actions,Banks!Stop acting so nonchalant about this"he says.
"I am not nonchalant.Its called being calm.Weren't you the one who always used to tell me how I handled things with my anger?So I fixed that.You are calling me greedy but don't you know you're the same way.Always expecting more and more and more from me every second?".
He looks at me shocked as I down the rest of my beer."It starts to get annoying trying to change myself for someone I don't even sleep next to".
"So go ahead.tell me three things you care about more than anything".
I tilt my head and say "Mia.Sex and Futbol in that order".
He narrows his eyes and say"Where's Silas in this?Or your family".
"You are asking me what impacted me the most.Mia.Her sex.Silas and Futbol.Without her sex I wouldn't know what love is.I would know how to show my son love and even my unborn child either".
"You want family out of me you won't get it.Because right now?Your behind Futbol.Because Futbol was there when I got sexually assaulted and mentally abused.I would go outside every night after that and kick soccer balls or watch the ball for feel anything".
I turn to him and say "I left my hate for you in college but you just don't know when to give up and just try.And that's getting annoying.Trying so hard to pick a bone with me that you don't even know why that was".i walk out of the living room and walk to the children room to check on them.

That night I feel someone lay down in the bed and yawn."Is he already sleep?"Mia whispers.
She kisses my cheek before cuddling up to me."You really think I could go to sleep without you in my arms?".
Mia inhales and says"No I guess not".
I open my eyes before looking at the clocked.It was 12:37am.I cup her face and say "Happy birthday my heart".
Mias eyes soften as she smiles at me."Thank you baby".
I kiss her sweetly before kissing her cheek."It's sad that everyone is leaving tomorrow".
I nod my head and say "They will be back in a couple of months so it will be fine".She nods her head as I tilt my head.
"Are you okay?"."Just tired.Did you already tuck Silas in?".
I nod my head and she lays her head down in my chest.I watch as her eyes drift to sleep as I caress her cheek softly.I smile before I close my own eyes.
"I can't believe you are leaving me"Mia says sadly.
Lake gushes and hugs her lightly."I know I wish I could stay longer for your birthday but I have to work tomorrow!You better live it up".
Mia laughs and says "I will".
She points to me and says "You better treat my bestfriend right"."of course.Thats the mother of my children".
Lake smiles at that before ruffling Silas hair."It was nice meeting you Silas.Keep getting on your fathers nerves for me".
"Gladly!"he says happily.
I glare at him before Lake hugs me tightly."Be safe"I whisper.
She nods as I move back.I hug Sage,Nova and Soren before they walk out."See you later Silas!"Soren call out.Silas smiles at him and waves bye.
Vaughn hugs Mia before fist bumping Silas."Keep my brother in check".
Silas nods his head and Vaughn walks over to me.My eyes go wide as he pulls me in a hug."What you said the other night..you're right.You are trying to move in with your life I will too".
He moves back and says "You're my twin brother and I love you more than anything.So that I will try".
I nod my head as he pats my shoulder.They walk out and I turn to Naomi and Jasmine.
"And then there was me"Jasmine says.
She turns to Mia and says "Happy birthday Mia".
Mia smiles and hugs Jasmine."Thank you.I wish you could stay longer too".
"Youa know but with fashion week caused till the end of December I don't know if I'll come back.Banks are you coming back for Christmas?".
I nod my head and she cheers."Okay great.Ill give Mia the present then.Silas be a good one yea?".
Silas nods his head as Yara waves at him.He smiles at her as she leaves.
Once they all leave,Mia sighs in relief."Alright now it's time to-".
"-Nope.You sit back and relax.Me and Silas will straight this place up right Sy?".
He nods his head confidently and Mia laughs softly."Really?".
I nod my head and grab the blanket from our room.I drape it over her and kiss her forehead.
"You are pregnant with my child.There is no way I will have you lift anything in this house and anywhere else".
She sighs as my phone rings."Hello?"
"Banks Henry Carrington Jr.Have you lost your fucking mind"Mum snaps.
I gulp and say"Uh..Hey mom-"-.
"-Don't hey mum me.This is how I find out that now has my son adopted a little boy that I have never met!But he's also about to have a baby with a girl I didn't know he was back together with!!!".
I clear my throat and say "I understand your frustration-".
"-You know how much I love Mia and you didn't tell me that you two got back together!And that little boy you adopted!What's his name!I have to meet my grandson!".
She pauses and says "hunny!We are planning a flight to Italy now!".
My eyes go wide and I say "What no!"."No?Did you just no me Banks?".
"O-of course not mum.I just.We just got back from my cousins long stay here and it's just-".
"-So what you're saying is that you don't want to see your mother?I can't believe my favorite doesn't want to see his mother.Can you believe that hunny,"."Shame on you Banks"Dad calls out.
"Oh my god.You are not guilt tripping me right now.Im sure that you are busy".
"With what?Im retired now,I just sit around the house and bother your father"."Damn right she does"Dad grumbles.
"Oh shut up.you love it.I don't even have my sweet banks to call me anymore".
I sigh loudly."How about I get you tickets to the Liverpool ,Milan game in a month.And then we can have dinner together while I'm done".
"I would love that!Aww can you get me one of those jerseys with your last name on it?"."Of course I will Mum".
She giggles as I smile softly."Okay.Okay.Ill get you off the phone.Tell Mia,I said hi.And I expect pictures of Silas when you come down!".
"Of course,I love you mum"."I love you too hunny!".
She hangs up and I sigh in relief."Sounds like Mammi Carrrington laid it out in you"Mia jokes.
"You have no idea".
