The two boys grumble with annoyance as they follow the girls through the busy park. JJ carrying all the stuff Sam forced him too. Sam wanting nothing more than to be enjoying a beer at the chateau, nowhere near the outdoor movie theatre packed with vengeful Kooks.
"I'm so glad they're still doing this. A night to just keep calm and carry on." Sam chuckles humorlessly at Kies words. "Back to the OBX life. Aren't you guys glad I made you come?"
"Ecstatic." Pope grunts with an unenthusiastic expression. Sam hummed generally wishing she could enjoy the night with her best friends instead of having to worry about Rafe and his possie.
"My couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest." JJ mumbles before wrapping an arm around his girlfriend's shoulder and leaning into her ear. "With a hot babe laying next to me." He whispers into her skin, not wanting Kie to hear him as she leads the group.
Sam feels a shiver run down her body at the closeness of the boy, a small laugh leaving her throat at his words. JJ lets go of her shoulder as the group begins to set up their stuff, him setting up a chair for the girl.
"We're out of the green zone man." Pope mutters nervously, visibly uncomfortable with the entire situation the girl forced him into.
"Dude, tranquilo, okay?" The other boy whispers back, making his girlfriend chuckle.
"I mean, that's bit hard to do in the middle of Kooklandia." She adds pointing out all the nicer dressed people.
"This is the last place I wanted to be." Pope continues making Sam shake her head, not wanting them to let down their excited friend.
"I'm going to go get the drinks with Kie." Sam jumps up from her chair, seeing the girl already walking towards the canteen store. "But while she's not here." She mumbles grabbing the blondes jaw and planting a hard kiss on his soft lips. When the two pull apart Pope's gagging comes to their attention.
"Just because I know about you two doesn't mean I want to watch you swap spit." He cries out like the two aren't the cutest couple he's ever seen.
"Then close your eyes." JJ tells the boy before running his arm around her waist and pulling her into him. He makes this kiss last longer just to gross their friend out even more. Sam pulls back with a huge grin, slapping the blonde lightly in the chest.
"Okay, let me go before Kie comes looking for me." The blonde hesitantly let's go of her, as she runs after her friend. When she spots Kie she rolls her eyes realising who is standing next to her. Sam marches her way up to the counter, coming into view of the boy.
