She had returned home that night safely. Her husband and eldest daughter were already tipsy and giggly. Sure, the drinking age was 20, but Athena had been to so many parties and her biology was identical to her father's, she tried alcohol for the first time when she was 15. Elena needed a drink to get that weight off of her chest. She let out her feelings but something replaced it. He confessed to having feelings. And was it bad that they weren't good ones? Why did she care? It was easier for her to persuade herself that every time he made her worried, he was just manipulating her.

She woke up the next morning next to her husband, both were somewhat in nightwear. But they were both in bed, and she was hugging him. With a groan, she pushed up and felt that splitting headache that came with a hangover. At least the curtains were closed. She looked at her husband and kissed his cheek, her hand roamed over his chest and around his neck, as she hugged him and sighed, grumbling. She then shuddered and realised she was only wearing pyjama trousers. She grumbled but felt an arm wrap around her. Adonis pressed her against him and looked down at him, "good morning darling~" he sang, kissing her cheek,

"Morning honey," she sighed and rested her head on his chest, "how are you," she brushed her hand over his since bandaged chin, "that's gonna leave a scar," she muttered and groaned at her headache,

"It's not like I was growing a beard anyway." He chortled and true enough that he wasn't, she squished his cheeks as he pulled her onto him, and she felt how smooth his face actually was. He just didn't want facial hair. She never wondered why.

"I can't imagine you with a beard anyway, your jaw looks too nice." She giggled and sighed as his hands moved from her waist to her head to massage her.

"You're so kind," he chortled and a hand ran down her back, where he traced over her tattoo. In this world, she had a matching tattoo to him, which he got for his cult.

"You have things to do, let's get up. This hangover is feeling terrible," she closed her eyes and rested her chin on his chest. He hummed and she enjoyed the rumble,

"Alright, let's go," he sat up, "let's take a shower," he smiled and kissed her neck, she pulled on a shirt, "what even happened last night," he wondered and got out of bed with her. She held his hand and let him pull her along,

"No idea." She shook her head, going into the shower with him. They left and he helped dry her hair as they left and saw Antonio rush over to them. He was wearing an apron and was grinning up at them.

"Good morning!" He beamed. She had to cover one of her ears,

"Morning honey, could you be a bit more quiet?" She requested,

"Sorry," he whispered, Adonis chuckling and picking him up.

"Why're you in an apron little man?" He tilted his head. It was as if the boy wasn't 5'8".

"Big brother is teaching us how to make churros," he pushed out of his dad's arms and rushed to the kitchen.

"Churros?" Adonis tilted his head, and the pair went to the kitchen.

""To fit mum's sweet tooth and help with her hangover," was what-" Bianca was speaking before a cook smiled,

"Was what Master Odele said," they interjected.

"What?" Odele blurted, "n-" he paused as they all heard their mother gasp and cover her mouth. He looked conflicted, looking at his mother so happy and giddy, and looking at Kato, who was leaning against the wall of the kitchen.

"My kids love me~" she cheered and tied her hair, "here I'll help you, I used to make churros all the time~" she sang and rolled up her sleeves.

"Mum, b-" Athena was going to speak, but paused and saw Kato push off the wall. He silently shushed them and left the room, leaving them to just take the credit for his idea. Adonis chortled - the pair didn't pay regard to him - and got her an apron. The kids all looked at each other.
