The next day, Kato woke up to the text and selfie of Cassandra and Odele in a club in the Philippines, Adonis in the background talking to the bartender. He gave a response, though considering it was 05:00, and the Philippines was an hour behind, he assumed that they had only recently returned to the hotel and collapsed. He left her some empty questions he already knew the answer to; was the hotel nice? How warm is it? Questions like that, he asked and then began his day by sitting up and calling his card's company; he spent the next hour getting ready while also getting rid of his number and the apps he used. He wished Juno one last goodbye and after clearing his phone of everything he got because of his stay, he had a phone that was identical to how it was when he first arrived.
He then prayed, and ran his hands through his now curly hair. It was a humid day. He looked back and saw Camilla moping and pushing up, grovelling a bit. He had asked her to accompany him today to go find something. After all, she was an adventurer. She agreed but after spending her night running around wherever she did, she wasn't feeling it. Kato hadn't any plans that day, so didn't mind just watching her roll around and stretch.
When she got up, finally, he let her get ready and cleaned up behind herself. He wasn't getting texts anymore, which though he wasn't used to, comforted him. She then left and looked up at him,
"What are we getting?" She tilted her head,
"Pecans... some other foods..." he mumbled.
"Okay! Why?" She tilted her head the other way.
"I'm treating someone out because I promised to..."
"Where?" She grinned and made her way to the door.
"There's a field... I'll take her there,"
"Her? Have you found someone you want to court?" She gasped as he joined her,
"No... I just owe her an apology before I leave," he shook his head and they left. Camilla agreed with what he was doing,
"Then I'll help you!" She proposed as promised to Kato, who nodded and walked beside her in a composed manner.
They shopped for some time. Camilla found out the mood and insisted on finding a suit. Though he wasn't sure who else he would trust to find him a suit. They spent most of the day together, having Kato pay for everything and spoil his sister for choices.
"Hey, isn't she-" Camilla never finished her question, as Athena herself joined them. Kato was somewhat grateful. She looked up at Kato stoically though and took a hold of his shirt carefully,
"You said... you wanted to go out tonight." She hummed and leaned closer, "why am I seeing you outside now with another girl?" She could actually cry from that discovery, having to see the boy she liked with another girl, shopping and spoiling her. "And why does it fucking hurt?" She sniffed, shaking as Kato wrapped his arms around her and ran a hand through her hair.
"Oh no..." Camilla rushed over and hugged Athena as well,
"Don't cry," Kato instantly requested. "I was getting-"
"Aren't you the girl Odele likes? Why can't you just have my brother, this isn't fair." Athena looked down at Camilla.
"I'm still taking you out tonight," he pierced through their interaction, "are you here with your friends?" He looked around,
"I don't think I want to go anymore..." She rested her head against Kato's chest. All she could think about was how shit he made her feel usually. He paused and let go of her,
"Sorry..." he pushed away to give her space.
"What!?" Camilla exclaimed, "is this how you've been treating her!?" She looked at Kato and pointed down. He sat down instantly and felt her kick him, "no wonder you have to apologise you're such a man! You aren't going to ask her why? Try and make it better!? This is why you're here in the first place! Come on! Get up!" She continued kicking him. "No girl likes being shut out, you let her in you silly- you- ugh!" She tugged him up by the hair and he just took it, she faced Athena, "I'm sorry if that's how he's been treating you this whole time!" She apologised, "I like to think I can teach him to treat a lady right but he's just a bonehead!" She whipped her head to look at him. He just looked down to the floor as the people who passed by watched. She pinched his cheek and Athena brushed her hand away, looking up at Kato who remained quiet - he was actually really confused. He was taught that when someone said they didn't want something or just "no", he should accept it without question. Unless it was men at war. And now he was being told off for following that and being told he had to be insistent.
