Adonis promised there weren't many places left to review and see, and they all made their way. Kato was silently following as Camilla spoke to Bianca. Odele lagged back and spoke to him after some time, as they made it to the next spot. Camilla looked around the place and pulled on Kato's shirt. He looked down at her and then to where she was pointing. There was nothing. But Kato knew better than to second guess Camilla after the lesson she learnt. He leaned down, "what's wrong?" He mumbled into her ear. She looked at him for a moment,
"I don't know." She whispered back, "but don't go that way." She pointed in the general direction they were facing. The pair noticed Elena staring at them, Camilla smiled, "anyway! I should get going! Come over tonight!" She waved Kato farewell and then bid everyone else goodbye.
"She'd make a wonderful daughter-in-law." Adonis teased Odele who slapped his hands over his face.
"She will not." Kato denied and Adonis stared at him,
"Jealous?" Adonis teased.
"He's allowed to care for his friend!" Bianca backed up, taking Camilla's place at Kato's side.
"Well what's so wrong with letting her into this lifestyle with us?" Adonis bragged and opened his arms. Kato could think of a few things. Firstly, the downgrade from the crown princess to a CEO's daughter-in-law.
"Some things are more fun without money." He replied and urged them to continue their reviews. He entertained Antonio and Athena showed him things on her phone. One was a video of him which was not comforting in the slightest. He excused himself to make a call. "Uncle." Kato greeted as his phone call was picked up.
"Rat." Kuragiri replied on the other side of the phone, "what do you need?" He groaned,
"How are your relations with the family now?" He asked instead, Kuragiri kept quiet,
"They accepted a lease. We spoke semi-formally the other day."
"Good, your lease was risky I assume." He glanced back. Athena was listening in, "I won't pry into business that doesn't interest me. I need you to do something for me." He claimed,
"Of course. And what's the trade deal?" He tilted his head,
"Doesn't your sister's friend own a company," Kato looked up,
"How do you know that?" Kuragiri sighed. Simple deduction on Kato's behalf. Tenshi heard of the man from letters Sara would send Elena and himself. Apparently a king in his world with a strong military. So probably someone competent in this world.
"Right, what of?" Kato had a hunch.
"Bodyguards."
"Wonderful." He nodded, looking at the phone, "we'll settle this elsewhere,"
"Hey~ who are you talking to?" Athena brooded, hugging around his body.
"Finished," Kato hung up as Kuragiri was about to speak. He looked at the messages he was being sent and pocketed the phone. He needed to be rid of that contract, and start paying back his supplier. Sell that apartment he hadn't visited since the incident... he had a list of things to do.
"Well?" She tilted her head and looked up at him.
"Nothing." He replied,
"You know, you can tell me if you're also a CEO's kid. I'm starting to think you are." She claimed, raising one of her legs against his, "after all, who talks to someone about leases and other companies so casually?" She grinned and leaned back.
"Compose yourself," he pulled her up and pushed her leg down, "we're in public." He reminded her and she rolled her eyes.
"Answer my question." She demanded. The answer he had was that he overlooked all business alongside his family anyway. He didn't see what was so impressive owning a business when he owned a whole country for a month. Still in heated tensions with others around them - Kato felt true pressure while the rest of his family was recovering.
