Kato watched Tenshi sort out some paper and then pop his neck, Kato then remembered who Tenshi was. He was a university professor. That meant he had a lecture or two today. He was reading a book at the lectern when Kato made his way to the door, "where are you going?" Tenshi looked up from the book.
"You... have work... I shouldn't disturb you..." he looked at the door respectfully.
"Stay." Tenshi ordered. Kato put his hands behind his back and looked back, he went over, "you're not a guard anymore, you're my son for now, so get comfortable." He nodded, the door opened for the first student to walk in, seeing Kato sit down by the desk.
"Saba! Who is that?" The student grinned. "Are we getting a new professor that hopefully smiles?" He teased. Tenshi looked up at him.
"No. He doesn't smile much either." Tenshi nodded back to Kato who looked up from the paper he was scribbling over - someone had to continue the calculations on the board. "He's a bit too young to be a professor as well." He added but looked over at the paper, he underlined something and Kato went on to correct it.
"Oh!~ A new student?" A girl walked in curiously to see Kato as well.
"Still too young." Tenshi mumbled and stretched, "a bit late to be joining the course." He added and went to open the door to the group of students outside, "how old are you all? Waiting outside like you're still in junior school." Tenshi chided as the group of them walked in while talking and retorting to Tenshi. Kato glanced up to see how actually full the class was. He didn't realise quantum theory was so popular in this timeline. It really wasn't popular in his world.
Then, at the sound of how some people were talking to each other about Tenshi, he realised that maybe some of them weren't there for quantum physics at all. Kato felt awkward though, sitting at the front where everyone was staring at him when Tenshi wasn't snatching their attention with a snap of his fingers and a demand for their eyes on the board. It continued where Kato felt the curiosity of the room rise with the minutes passing and his small contributions - if Tenshi needed another chalk, he'd ask Kato to toss him one.
It continued for another quarter of an hour before Tenshi knocked on the board, "he's not a zoo animal stop staring at him," he drawled tiredly and pointed to the board, "shall I quiz you on the last 15 minutes and see how many of you want to stay in the course?" He narrowed his eyes. Kato felt this was partially his fault for existing.
"Just tell us who he is!" A girl called. They all looked at her and Tenshi groaned,
"He's my son." He introduced Kato, a chorus of "what"'s ringing out. "I answered. Pay attention." He turned back to the board,
"Wait wait, you have a son!?" One boy asked, standing up and peering over at Kato, "holy shit your son is the Fukushima bodyguard!? I was there when you were under attack from those three guys, that was so badass!" He laughed excitedly as Kato stood up and made his way to the door silently.
"Hey. What did I say?" Tenshi called,
"I'm disrupting the class..." he mumbled and Tenshi took a hold of Kato's shoulder.
"He's huge!" A man gasped, Tenshi's hand was at his eye level just resting his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Sir are you lying?" He accused Tenshi.
"Absolutely not. Calm down, or we can continue this after hours." He warned, watching how the lecture hall fell quiet. "You're staying, I need your help after and I can't have you running off." Tenshi muttered to Kato who nodded, "sit at the back. If I see the back of anyone's head, you're getting a quiz on today's class." He warned and got the papers, glazing over it, "you're doing great - substitute that value and apply Bell's theory." He ordered and sent Kato up to the seats.
