Given a week, Kato managed to sell the apartment. The paperwork was hefty and questionable but he had it done. He had managed to make his account a joint account, Juno and Tenshi both could oversee the finances since he wasn't going to be around but he had absolutely nothing to do with the money. His business expenses came with no tax and that was just about everything he bought. So he actually had more money than expected for someone who spent so much. Not to mention, the pay he got for being their bodyguard was good. Juno was Kato's only connection to the charity he was embezzling from, and so his only connection to pay them back. Tenshi had rights to the account in case Kato couldn't settle anything in time. He truly didn't have long; Odele was leaving the following day with Cassandra.
Which was somewhat a shame. The schedule was to see if Kato's father fell deadly sick. After that, Kato still intended on saving more of the man in other worlds. He wouldn't make the mistake of wasting as much time as he had here. But he'd leave the day after; where he'd be able to get ready and celebrate Eid with the Tenshi of this world before going back on the time loop.
He wouldn't have minded Cassandra being there; but it wasn't anything new to him, Kato didn't see her for a year prior to leaving initially. Then, he decided he didn't care that much. She'd be having fun with someone who would stick around. Though speaking of that someone, Kato was reading his texts and sighed heavily, massaging his forehead,
"You alright mate?" Odele asked since they were in the same room,
"Are you available tonight?" Kato turned to him.
"Sure, what's up?" Odele nodded, checking his schedule while knowing he didn't have anything.
"Camilla wants to go to a club. Can you go with her?" He looked at the texts of Camilla begging him to join her. She was allowed to go to the club if she wanted, her faith wasn't his to dictate. Though Tenshi was a devout Muslim, Elena used to be Agnostic, with her family otherwise being Orthodox Christian. They were surrounded by different religions all the time, Cassandra was Hindu, Sora and Soji (before he reverted) were Buddhists. So Tenshi wasn't going to force his children to follow his faith, he'd rather they did, of course, but practice didn't mean instant Heaven. Irū didn't wear a headscarf, but her intentions were more than modest enough for Heaven as it seemed. So Camilla was allowed to explore these places, Kato would never, but she could.
Odele stood up slowly and went to Kato, hugging him. "You being for real?" He whispered, Kato showed the texts, the last one saying he'd see if Odele would accompany her and Camilla being more than happy with that arrangement. Odele looked at it and looked away while covering his mouth. He then looked back and looked away again. He did a third time and inhaled, "brother," he took Kato's hand, "you're letting me hit?"
"You're absolutely not hitting my sister." Kato seethed. Odele froze. What was more of a surprise, Kato not knowing what "letting me hit" meant or the fact that Camilla was his sister, "and I will know if you do anything."
"Dude she's your sister?" Odele exhaled shakily.
"She might be able to lie to you effortlessly, but I'll know." He promised and rested a hand on Odele's shoulder.
"Alright," Odele breathed in and composed himself, "I'll take her to the club, has she been before?"
"Not that I know," Kato hummed, "it's a favour, sorry," he apologised,
"No it's fine man, we're friends, I'll show your sister how to party. And I promise to keep her safe." He smiled nicely, "in the most respectful way now, because bro code, I genuinely wouldn't see spending time with Camilla as a chore." He promised and checked the time, "tell her to get ready. Does she drink?"
