Kato leaves his room shirtless, and then Odele hears a girl's voice. When did they even get back? Had Kato no class to book a hotel? Wasn't he at a wedding? What was happening?
The door opened and rather casually for once, Kato left in a loose shirt and standard trousers. He looked back at Odele and tilted his head. "Are you unwell..." he whispered.
"Is who unwell?" Camilla stuck her head out of the room and Odele covered his mouth.
"Oh my Lord you are gorgeous." He nearly dropped his tea. Camilla beamed at him brightly and giggled,
"Thank you! You're rather handsome yourself!" She complimented and gave Kato her plate, "thank you for the food," she thanked him.
"No problem." Kato rested a hand on her head, "be quiet, the others are sleeping. Remember what we said." He reminded her. She nodded and an air of maturity overcame her, she stepped out of the room and Odele took in the sight of her. A short, adorable girl with a subtle smile regardless of what she was doing. She flourished.
"Did you- are you- did I-"
"Speak clearly," she chortled. He felt compelled to apologise profusely. After all, she was so eloquent.
"I'm so sorry," he inhaled shakily, "are you his girlfriend?" He whispered and covered his mouth.
"Hm? Girlfriend?" She tilted her head. Kato returned,
"Consort." He translated.
"Oh," she looked up at him and then laughed. There was a strange familiarity with her laugh and the sheer look of her. Like she was someone safe to be around, "no I've been dreadfully alone my whole life. I've been trying though." She dismissed bashfully.
"I can be your boyfriend." He offered quickly. Kato stuck a hand between them.
"Don't be disgusting." He deadpanned.
"Ah," Camilla laughed sheepishly, "I... don't even know your name?" She excused herself. Odele caught himself - he'd never been so quick to offer himself to a girl. Usually they'd come to him. Though his record was rather barren as a man who either had crushes and outgrew them promptly or was the crush, and rejected the confession because the girl wasn't up to his standard. He looked at Camilla and realised he really gave himself up without knowing her name. Where did his usual assessment go? Not to mention, she didn't recognise him.
"Odele Fukushima." He introduced after clearing his throat. He offered a hand to her and she looked at it before looking at Kato.
"Who is he?" She whispered.
"Adonis's and Elena's child my age." He replied. Camilla gasped and took his hand, shaking it,
"Camilla," she smiled,
"What a wonderful name for such a stunning girl," he smiled courteously, "I'm just confused though, you're wearing his shirt and you've left his room; is this just a one time thing? Sure mate, you're good looking but not even I would pass up dating Camilla," he frowned and chided at Kato who rested a hand on Camilla's back.
"You have grown!" She exclaimed and pointed at Kato, "just a few months ago you were his height!" She mimicked a height comparison between herself and Odele.
"Oh, so you must know each other." Odele tried to keep on topic.
"Let's go back," Kato ignored Odele with a hushed tone. She looked at him and after a moment, nodded, "keep my shirt, they can get you some more clothes." He moved her along while pulling his shirt and dropping his jacket on her.
"Shall I accompany you?" Odele asked quickly.
"No." Kato denied and went back into his room. He returned with her clothes he was putting in a bag and led Camilla out. Odele already hated the fact that she was leaving.
