The following day, Kato woke up and instantly went into the shower without a regard for the noises in the kitchen. When he left, there Soji was, cooking with Irū and talking to her calmly. The pair greeted him and he joined them, helping pack goods and eventually change as Camilla woke up and so did Tenshi. The pair took their showers and Camilla was excitedly getting ready after having her date. Irū joined and the men all went into different rooms to change. They did so, all of them wore white.
"Eid Mubarak, Uncle Soji!" Camilla wished excitedly as they left,
"Eid Mubarak, Camilla," he returned and went into his car with Irū. Kato went with Camilla to Tenshi's car - where Kato sat at the back. He didn't often sit at the back, but since Cassandra left, he found himself sitting at the back more. He also found that he slept in the back of the car more often. Camilla said it was like him in carriages, where Elena would hold him as he slept. They wondered what it was together, though Kato didn't have even the slightest idea of what it could be.
He simply enjoyed sitting at the back now, because he remembered Cassandra there with him. He wondered how she was doing in the Philippines.
She had gone clubbing and coconut picking. She bonded rather well with Adonis actually, so he felt more like a friend to them than a guardian. She had absolutely milked the Hell out of Odele, but Adonis was all up for it - they had money and were on holiday! They may as well! She had videos of Odele drunk or dancing with flirtatious girls trying for a piece of the cute, tall, foreign boy. Adonis was buying clubs because he felt like it.
There was a video of them at a casino, Cassandra was allowed to gamble because her height alone had her seemingly 27. As well as the fear it instilled when she chided people, so she got in through the intimidation factor with Adonis who had a card to let his kids into these places. How he managed to get it was beyond Kato's care. Still impressive just how much power the man had. Regardless, she had a video recorded by Odele at a poker table, winning the whole table and freaking out to Odele.
Odele found himself actually slowly enjoying buying things for her. The way she would victoriously snicker or be genuinely surprised he said yes because she was really just trying to mess with him was growing on him. And he began finding it cute when he started buying things she'd joke about and she'd try and get him not to, it showed she wasn't all about their money at least. And of course, the night life, theme parks and places they ran off to - Odele really never expected himself to have so much fun with a woman, firstly, and secondly, someone like her. The only downer to her whole trip was that Kato never got her texts after he asked those questions. He just never got the videos and texts. But when she was confused, Odele assured her that his contract was probably closed to Japan. So when they returned, they'd send.
In reality; his contract was global - as he could call Juno fine. But the number just didn't exist anymore.
They danced, learned about the culture, had competitions Cassandra nearly always won until Adonis went against her (unless it was speed related, or related to a crossbow - then she swept). They learnt a lot about each other. Odele had to thank Kato upon his return for introducing them. Because Cassandra was a real eye opener to him. He once went into her room and saw her in the bathroom shaving her own stubble, not that she cared but he was shocked. Women could grow full beards? And why was she growing more than him!?
But Kato didn't think too much about it, he had his own Cassandra to meet again. His own explanations to plan. It was something to dread, but genuinely, he couldn't wait to meet his Cassandra, to duel her and have her drag him to run through the woods with him.
Tenshi looked back at Kato and nearly swerved the car in surprise, "wait- wait kid, you're not gonna wear the blindfold?" He realised. Kato shook his head calmly,
