The next day, Kato woke up just in time to not tense when Cassandra burst into the house. Very on par of Cassandra to simply barge in like she owned the place. "Get up! I'm taking a private jet to Indonesia." She stuck a thumb into her own chest while grinning. Kato checked the time,
"Cassandra it's 05:30." He sat up, "I appreciate the early rise but spare my sister." He stood up from the couch.
"I kind of expected her to be here to be honest," Camilla confessed while on the mattress on the floor.
"I'm not sorry to tell you how I exploit the rich." She claimed,
"How will you tell him you're more wealthy in India when the currency is converted." Kato recalled how her family just bought a whole apartment complex in Mumbai for the sake of it. Apparently it had a nice pool, according to her.
"We'll get there," she swatted away,
"Well, we may as well be quick," Kato pulled off his shirt and walked away.
"Still have the bandages?" Cassandra cringed at the sight.
"I fought a bear." He replied and she choked a laugh,
"Hah! Bears aren't native anywhere here." She rested a hand on her hip.
"The bear was Camilla."
"Hey!" Camilla gasped,
"Wow, Camilla, I didn't realise you were that strong." Cassandra gasped theatrically,
"She said she'd fight you next," Kato hummed and went to the bathroom,
"No I didn't!" Camilla shook her head,
"Oh no, Camilla, spare me," Cassandra shuddered, "I know your strength is unlimited but have mercy on a mortal like me," she put her hands together and mocked begging, "you still appear in my nightmares, please," she chided. Camilla was giggling at the humour and sarcasm the pair had. It was nice to be involved in her brother's and best friend's life and dynamic. Considering the pair hadn't spoken nearly as much their whole life as they had when meeting here, it was a strange change of pace - but welcoming. That applied to all three of them.
Kato left some time later and Tenshi left his room, "do you want to be any louder?" He questioned as he went into the shower and Kato tossed the roll of bandages to the girls to bandage him up. Cassandra really didn't know how to feel knowing he looked to be a monster under the shirt but had a face so cute - defined muscles, was it even possible to be that defined? And he had an overlapping scar across his chest, just on his heart - so he had his fair share of battles one way or another. But she ignored that,
"Where'd you get those cargos?" She looked at the black cargo trousers Kato wore, it had belts around the legs.
"Can't recall." He mumbled, "Auntie Irū got it for me suddenly." He explained. Camilla tightened the bandages and secured them before pushing a shirt over his head. He put it on and Cassandra felt somewhat at ease again - he covered what contradicted how he behaved.
"Is there a reason you're both going so early?" Camilla queried and watched Cassandra rest her hands on Kato's shoulders, beginning to balance herself and do a handstand on his shoulders, "what are you doing..." she watched how Cassandra's shoes nearly brushed the ceiling, and then did as Kato readjusted his posture,
"Okay we're way too tall." Cassandra tipped forward and landed on her feet in front of Kato who was just sitting on the inflatable mattress.
"Because Auntie Irū comes back in three hours. She rearranged her ticket for that day when she heard of Cassandra's plans." Kato explained. She left soon after the zoo incident for an event in the US, an awards show apparently. Kato had heard of the places but they never... existed in his world. They had different names and different factions where Kato was from. Regardless, he felt Camilla push a hat on his head and he readjusted it. Tenshi left the shower and went to change out of the vest and pyjama trousers he always had.
