When Ty came home from work Wednesday I could tell he was on edge. He was quiet and didn't say much while we made supper.

Its almost like living with a girl only instead of getting moody once a month he gets anxious and nervous once a week. I cant lie, I'm just as nervous waiting too.

All evening I watch him, looking for the slightest sign its coming but nothing does. I don't sleep much, I fully expected him to start shaking beside me but the next morning he seems fine.

Maybe his breaks between are getting longer.

Maybe he did just need to settle in more.

I was still walking on eggshells the next two days waiting for him to drop, this is the longest he's gone since right after the surgery.

I don't know if he realizes it but I don't want to say anything and jinx it either.

Saturday I'm a little scared that he's going to seize during the tattoo appointment, especially since we told Iggy he can tell him when to stop. After the last one I'm a little nervous that he might not notice the signs again.

Him and Iggy are talking about Tyler's job when he suddenly stops talking and his eyes go blank. I instinctively lean in and put my hand on his leg.

Iggy looks up, realizing he stopped talking and sits back.

"Is he okay?" he asks looking over at me.

"Yeah, its just an absence seizure, but you might want to wait a minute. Its been a while since his last big one so I'm scared it might spread." I admit and he nods.

It doesn't last long and surprisingly he comes out of it.

I fully expected it to take a whole other direction.

"Hey, you with us?" I ask as he blinks hard.

"Yeah, sorry." he sighs and shakes his head.

"No problem man, how often does that happen in a day?" Iggy asks curiously as he moves his stool back and starts on Tyler's arm again.

"Not really sure, most of the time I don't even notice it, other people do." Ty chuckles.

"Those are pretty minor, he doesn't pay attention half the time anyway." I tease and they laugh.

The rest of the appointment goes by flawlessly, one more session and his arm will be covered all the way around from the top of his shoulder to his wrist.

It seems like a lot for only a second tattoo but by now he's like a pro. Iggy's even extended the sessions since his tolerance for pain is a lot higher than most peoples. We've gotten to know a lot about Iggy in the time we spend sitting around chatting all day with him. He's a pretty interesting guy, has a wife and two kids at home that I never would have expected, although his son does have a mohawk which didn't surprise me at all. He also likes to go hiking and camping. He's a real outdoor guy and has spent a lot of time in the woods surrounding the city. When we told him about our attempt at being one with nature he laughed so hard he had tears in his eyes.
