I wake up Sunday stiff and sore as usual now. I don't get time for the muscle aches to stop before it hits again anymore. Its surprising how used to being sore you get when its all you know.

After making brunch we sit down on the couch with Louise to watch T.V.

We barely get into one episode before someone knocks on the door.

When I open it I'm surprised to find Andre standing there.

"Since when do you knock?" I ask and he shrugs.

"Thought maybe we could go for a walk." he says and I raise and eyebrow and look at him then back at Mike who just looks away.

"Why?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"We need to talk." he states and starts to turn back to the steps.

"Okay." I mutter and throw on some shoes and a jacket before following him out of the house.

We cross the street and start walking down the sidewalk towards the river and he finally starts talking.

"Tyler I understand why you don't want another surgery or to try the experimental drugs but I don't get why your still telling your mom everything's fine." he says and I sigh.

"Have you talked to her lately? She's actually happy for once. Why would I tell her? So she can worry about something she cant change anyway?" I argue.

"She'd want to know." he says and I scoff.

"That's not the point Andre, for once she gets to enjoy her life, and being with your dad makes her happy for some strange reason." I joke and he cocks a half smile. "I don't want her to go back to worrying all the time. We're managing fine." I point out.

"Whatever man, you're old enough to make your own decisions, I just think hiding this from your mom isn't the best one you've made." he states and I shrug.

"If she knew she would drop everything and either move me back home or move out here. I'm not having her throw her life away for me again. I can handle it on my own." I insist but he shakes his head.

"No you can't Ty. That's just it, you need people on your team if your not going to try anything else. You know things are just going to get worse." he argues.

"I know. I've done it all before, I'm well prepared for what's to come. But I still don't think my mom can do anything to help. Really Andre, its not worth panicking her about it. Please, just leave it alone." I state and he sighs.

We walk for a bit without saying much else before heading back to the house. Mike's quiet when I get home, I'm pretty sure he knew what that was all about.

Monday morning Eddie has a huge smirk on his face when I get into the car.
