When we finally stopped crying and pulled ourselves together I asked Mike what the hell happened. I knew he was upset about something and I knew I had a seizure but other than that I wasn't sure why he was crying, seeing him like that just made me cry too.
When he told me what happened I felt horrible. Of all times for my brain to fuck of it decides to do it in the middle of sex?!
Seriously!?
How much more screwed up could this get.
Fuck.
It kind of killed my mood for the next couple days and despite Mikes attempts at flirting when I got home from work I just brushed him off. He insists it didn't bother him but I find that hard to believe. It bothered him enough to make him cry, I'm not doing that to him again.
When I get home from work Thursday Mike already has dinner made but I pull the sheet off my countdown on the fridge before sitting down.
Nine days.
Despite all the shit that's going on right now at least I have the concert to look forward to.
Mikes cooking's actually improving and even though I miss the carbs and sugar, the keto diet isn't half bad, although I don't notice it doing anything.
"When I got home from school Louise was sleeping on top your t-shirt from last night. You forgot to throw it in the hamper, at least she didn't destroy it this time but she did however get her head stuck in the sleeve and was...." Mike says before his voice trails off and I try to look up to see why he stopped talking but my head doesn't move.
I sit and watch the food on my plate start to blur and slowly fade to black unable to move a damn muscle.

I wake up sore and find myself looking at a ghost faced thing staring back at me.
My heart stops in my chest and I try to back away but it reaches out towards me and tries to pull me back. I push it away and try to get up but my body feels sluggish.
Was I drugged?
What did he do to me?
As much as I try to fight and get away from the thing that keeps trying to take me I don't get far. I manage to push myself away but knock something over as I try to keep him from getting near me. I connect with a hard surface behind me preventing me from backing away any farther. The thing comes towards me and tries to touch me again but I scream and hit at it with everything I have trying to keep it away. Eventually it gives up and backs away sitting down across the room staring at me.
I don't know what to do.
I panic and start to cry, the fear overwhelming me and making me vibrate and curl into a ball.
