On Sunday I suggest we go check out the craft fair downtown. Ty argues that we did that last weekend, I tell him that was different and not at all what I was expecting. I thought it would be more hand made things and instead it was basically people selling products from what ever company they jumped on. After looking at the webpage for this one Its more up my alley.
He groans a bit when I pull him up but smirks at my excitement. We can't sit around every weekend, were starting to act like an old married couple already.
Even more so since he hasn't slept with me since last weekend. Its been a long week.
I know he's upset about what happened but its not like he did it on purpose. He can't see when its coming anymore than I can now.
I'm hoping if I take his mind off things enough he'll just forget about it.
Wow, for once I'm wishing he would forget about something.
How stupid is that?
His memory's bad enough as it is. I'm hoping the new doctor will have some suggestions for that. It took me days to find one that looked promising. Unfortunately she's an hour away in the next city but if how hard she was to get an appointment with is any indication of how good she is I'm hopeful. I know Ty doesn't want me to be but your never going to get anything good if you always expect the bad.
Maybe the reason he never has any luck is because he never expects it to turn that way. I wish for once he would let himself believe that something might actually work. I know having it all come back was a huge let down but I hate to see him lose hope all together.
Some day something will work, medicine is improving every day, eventually they will figure out something that works.
They have to.
As I find a spot to park downtown Ty sighs and rolls his eyes as he opens his door.
"Here we go again." he smirks and laughs as I grab his arm and we walk down the street.
The booths are much more interesting this time. There's a lot more art and handmade items than before. At least this is stuff I would actually buy.
I look around at all the different pieces that people have put their time into making and am amazed at how everyone's mind works. The talent and creativity is amazing and varies so much from one booth to the next.
At one booth I get lost in amazement in a woman's take on stained glass. She's taken old pieces of wood and nailed them together to create 'window' frames then filled the inside with pieces of glass like you would expect but there's also random things thrown in there that just make it so eye catching.
One frame I cant stop looking at is filled with different shades and tints of blue glass all put together neatly then big blue marbles and silver nuts and bolts along with a metal spoon and a key all thrown in randomly. Right in the middle of the frame is a silver faucet with more pieces of glass suspended by clear string.
