On Wednesday Eddie makes me work out front again. The shops not horribly busy and with the three guys there already I don't see why I have to be up here too. I think it's his way of keeping a closer eye on me, I don't get it. I have the watch on, if I drop they will know. It cant be good for business if I drop out front, you would think he would want me in the back. I don't understand his reasoning most of the time, Eddie's brain just works differently than most peoples.
Maybe its all the weed.
It gets boring sitting out front and I find myself spacing out more than usual. I was trying to focus on some lady who was asking me about something but I couldn't make out what she was saying. Then she disappeared all together.

I look around and see Eddie and Neil standing in front of me.
I'm sitting in a chair behind the desk.
When did I sit down?
Wait, where did that woman go, she was asking me something, did I answer her?
What did she ask me?
I turn my head to look across the counter but don't see her. The shops empty aside from Eddie and Neil who are beside me and Carl who's standing behind them. He looks a little out of place, like he's not sure what the hell he's doing here.
"No he's starting to come around now. Yeah, thanks Mike, talk to you later." Eddie says lowering the phone from his ear and setting it on the counter.
That's when I realize just how close him and Neil are standing to me and see that their both staring at me with weird looks on their faces.
"What?" I ask leaning back in the chair a bit.
"Do you know what just happened?" Neil asks frowning.
"I was talking to some woman, where did she go?" I ask looking back over the counter.
"Carl finished helping her. We had to explain to her that you weren't glitching out, she kind of panicked when you suddenly froze and stopped talking." Eddie chuckles then frowns again. "It lasted for almost four minutes man. You scared us, I've never seen you space out so long before." he says rubbing the back of his neck. "I had to call Mike, I didn't know what to do. He said it's happened before?" He says raising his eyebrows and tilting his head kind of like Louise.
"Yeah, it's nothing, I'm fine." I shrug and his lips tighten to a thin line before he nods slightly.
"Okay but take it easy for the rest of the day." he says and I laugh.
