i lay on my bed in my apartment, ralph laying asleep on my stomach.
i didn't know what to do, new year's eve was coming up and i haven't spoke to anyone since christmas. my phone blowing up constantly from everyone, i never picked up though just sat and stared at it until it went away.

my mind drifted over to him, until i couldn't take it anymore, did i still love him? absolutely.
i never stopped.

i picked up ralph laying him on the bed with his favourite toy, my blinds were shut and have been for 4 days i was planning on watching some netflix or sleeping for the rest of the day. the same thing ive been doing all week, my eyes were red and sore from my tears that are constantly flooding.

*knock knock*
somone knocks at my door but before i could even get up somone storms into my apartment.
"girl get up" someone says barging into my room
"talia what are you doing" i groan
she opened the curtains and picked up my clothes off the floor "no had heard from you for 4 days and all you've been doing in sitting in the dark, i'm fucking worried" she says sitting on my bed
i breathe out and shrug "no need i'm fine" i say laying back into bed, "no brooklyn your not" she says i try to hold back my tears but clearly i wasn't trying hard enough before i couldn't stop them
talia could sense my hurt and immediately pulled me in for a cuddle, "your going to be okay b" she says wiping my tears.

we sit like this for a while until i finally stop crying again, "we're having a new year's party tomorrow and i think id be good for you to come" she says.
immiadiatly i refuse "no i'm busy" i say looking away knowing very well im not busy.
"doing what?" she asks
i frown "ummm a uh ive got somone coming over?" i say questioning myself, she laughs at me
"your funny, but seriously everyone just wants to see you" her words make me feel somewhat guilty for not replying but i knew it was better for me not to.

"i'll see" i say she claps in excitement "yay okk, well ive gotta go meet simon but please shower you need it babe" i'm taken back by her words and instantly start laughing "thanks tal" she doesn't say anything but instead just smiles at me in awe "what?" i say "good to see you smiling" she says.

after talia leaves i take her advice and jump in the shower, making sure i feel fresh again.

after that i knew i needed to let everyone know im okay.
