brooklyn was simon minters little sister, but she was nothing like him he was a famous youtube star and she had just finished uni. no one knew about her on social media as she would rather not having people in uni asking about her brother 24/7 it was better that way no stress. she had recently reached out to her brother and asked to see him again after years of living with her parents.
she had decided it was time to branch out and find her passion and she figured the first step was london, on impulse she called simon and asked if she can stay with him for a while until she gets onto her feet of course he said yes.
now here she was on a train to london to start her new life, was she nervous? yes.
"hey simon i can't see you where are you?" she said on the phone to him trying to navigate her way through the very busy london underground.
"i'm outside b can you hurry up i think talia might actually explode if she doesn't see you in the next 5 minutes" he said giggling.
she was so exited to meet everyone especially talia the women who chose to marry her brother in a few weeks.
"hey look i think i can see you!!" brooklyn put the phone down and ran up to them both being pulled into a warm embrace from talia.
"brooklyn omg i'm so glad your here i've wanted to meet you for ages!!" talia said while cupping my face in her hands. apart from thousands of FaceTime calls and from numerous phone calls this is the first time we have actually met.
"i can't believe we're finally meeting your much more beautiful in person tal, can't believe my brother bagged you?" i said chuckling at simon's face.
"hey i think you will find i got all the good genes thank you" simon laughed while pulling me into a proper bear hug "missed you lil sis"
"missed you too simon" i really have missed him it's weird not seeing him everyday since he moved out but im proud of his career.
"well better get in the uber now everyone is waiting to meet you b"
we all got in the uber on the way to simon and Talias house i can't explain how nervous i was to meet everyone? what if they hate me? what if i smell?
"hey so tell my everything how's your love life?" talia asks turning around to face me.
i laugh "well definitely no love life" it's true ever since my ex and i broke up i haven't seen the point in finding someone new.
"oh brooklyn im sure you will find someone" she said giving me a reassuring smile.
"nope after louie i don't trust anyone with you b" simon said almost aggressively, he had always been protective of me especially after finding out what happened with my ex (louie).
we arrive at their house as we all get out simon pays the driver and thanks him, we step up to the door talia unlocking it letting us in.
"just through here" talia guides me to the living room where i am greeted with all of simon's friends. i walk in as everyone stands up to greets me i hear a variety oh "hellos" before they all tell me there names "hi im vik" vik gave the most welcome smile to me "hi vik im brooklyn nice to finally meet you!" i said giving him a side hug.
"hi im josh and this is freya my girlfriend" i had heard a lot about josh mainly that he was the dad of the group. "hi josh hi freya im brooklyn!" they both pulled me into a hug before walking away so everyone else can speak.
"BROOKLYN!!" hearing a very familiar voice i turned around to see jj, ive known jj since i was in school he was like a big brother to me. "JJ HI!" i said running up to him and he picks me up giving me the tightest hug ever. "ok jj let go now i can't breathe" i said trying to pat his back. "oh sorry b don't know my own strength" jj says showing me his muscles.
i laugh i turn around to see tobi who gives me a hug and introduces himself followed by ethan.
everyone was so lovely i already knew i was gonna do well here. from the corner of my eye i could see someone enter the room i can only assume it was harry as he is the only one im yet to meet.
i turn to where he is and i am greeted by his bright blue eyes and scruffy blonde hair that looked almost perfectly placed "hi im brooklyn simon's sister, and you are?" i ask handing him my hand to shake "hello brooklyn im harry nice to meet you!" he says back shaking my hand.
after i had introduced myself to everyone i figured now was a good time to go outside since my social battery had run out. i made my way over to the balcony in their house before sliding open the door. it was cold but refreshing i sat down on one of the chairs and brung out my phone.
