After witnessing her parent's brutal murder by the military cops, Katniss Burnedead is taken in by the Scouts, where Erwin sees the potential within her. He assigns her to train under Captain Levi, gradually earning the nickname "Levi's Kid." (stude...
The morning sun barely peeked over the horizon, casting a soft golden hue across the camp. Levi stood in the center of a small clearing surrounded by trees, his back straight, arms folded as he waited for his squad to gather. The air was crisp and cool, but there was an underlying tension that hadn't been there in previous days.
Oluo, Petra, Gunther, Eld, and Kat arrived one by one, rubbing sleep from their eyes and adjusting their gear. They all knew when Levi gathered them at this hour, it wasn't going to be a routine training session.
Levi's gaze flickered to each of them in turn, as sharp as ever. "Listen up," he began, his voice low and commanding. "After encountering the Colossal Titan, it's clear that we need to be prepared for more Titans of that size. There might be others out there—Titans just as tall or maybe even taller. To deal with something like that, we need a new tactic."
He gestured toward the trees around them. "I want you all to learn the Electrified Tree Net Trap."

The squad exchanged confused glances as Levi continued, his tone sharp and commanding. "Kat," he said, turning his eyes on her, "you should remember this. Think back to the chain snatching test." Kat's eyes flickered as the memory resurfaced, the image of wires trapping Levi during that chaotic trial.
"Only difference is," Levi added quickly, cutting off any chance for her to respond, "those were simple wires. They could be cut easily with a blade." He paused, allowing the weight of his next words to settle in. "This will be different. We'll be using tungsten wire. Not only is it near impossible to cut, but it can carry electrical current—strong enough to immobilize even a large Titan."
The gravity of his words settled in, and the squad straightened, taking in the seriousness of the situation.
"Today, I'm going to teach you something that will give us the upper hand if we encounter one of these giant bastards again," Levi continued. "The key is coordination and speed. There's no room for error. One mistake, and the trap fails."
He stepped forward and pointed to the forest around them. "In a real situation, you're going to lure the Titan—make it follow you. The rest of the squad will set up the wires while in motion. The wires will wrap around the trees, creating a net, and at the right moment, we'll electrify the entire thing. The shock won't kill the Titan, but it'll immobilize it long enough for one of you to slice through the nape."
Petra nodded, her eyes narrowing in thought. "So it's not about taking the Titan down instantly. It's about creating an opening."
"Exactly," Levi confirmed. "This isn't a trap to be used against every Titan. But for the large ones, especially those with unusual abilities, this will give us the advantage."
Gunther raised a hand slightly. "What about the electric charge? How are we going to set that up?"
Levi pulled out a small, portable power pack from his belt, holding it up for them to see. "We'll be using these. Just one of you will have it attached to your gear, and that same person triggers the charge. That will be the key to this working—timing the activation of the electricity once the Titan is fully caught in the net."
He tossed the power pack to Gunther, who caught it and examined it closely.
"We'll practice in teams," Levi said. "Each of you will have a role. One distracts, two cast the wires, one sets the final line, and one triggers the charge. You'll rotate roles until every one of you knows how to execute each part of the trap."
Levi's eyes flickered to Kat, who was standing a bit behind the rest. "Kat, you've done something similar before when you used that wire trick on me, right?"
Kat blinked in surprise, memories of their earlier training coming back. "Y-yes, Heichou," she stammered.
"Good," Levi said with a nod. "You'll be leading the first demonstration. Show them how it's done. We need precision and coordination, just like when you pulled off that stunt. But this time, everyone needs to be in sync."
Kat felt her heart race as all eyes turned toward her. The pressure was on, but there was also a strange sense of excitement. Levi had just singled her out to demonstrate the technique in front of the entire squad. She couldn't let him—or herself—down.
Levi straightened up, addressing the whole group again. "This technique stays within this squad. You don't mention it to anyone else—not until you're in a situation where you need more manpower. Understood?"
"Yes, Heichou," they all responded in unison.
Levi gave them a final, hard look with a smirk. "Now, let's get started, shall we"
As the team scattered to their positions, readying themselves for the first run of the trap, Kat took a deep breath. She'd admired Levi for his strength and leadership for so long, and now she had the chance to prove herself once again.
But even with the excitement, she couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't just a new trap for training. It was a preparation for something bigger. Something more dangerous. And as Levi's squad moved silently into the trees, Kat couldn't help but wonder if this was the beginning of something far darker than any of them had faced before.
