Kakashi climbed back in and quickly started to construct something around my leg. I held the pillow, wincing every now and then as he tightened the wood on my leg. He glanced at me every time I did, always noticing it even when I tried to hide it. Finally, he seemed to be satisfied and after taking another break, he returned to me.
He eyed my arms but I lifted my shirt to show him the wound.
"This hurts bad, but I can't see it." I tried even now but my chest was mostly in the way and it hurt to bend any farther.
He growled and was gone suddenly.
Huh? I looked around confused, letting my shirt fall back down. Was it so bad? Oh, was it bleeding?! I yawned and relaxed against the pillow. I still hurt but much less. I found the exhaustion catching up to me. I let myself drift off to sleep before the pain could return.
-----
I jolted away from the burning pain, letting out a cry and shoving whatever it was away. My hand was grabbed and I was pinned down. I grumbled as I felt sweat rolling off my face.
"Calm down; I know it hurts." Kakashi caressed my face. "I was hoping it wouldn't hurt so much." He whispered it softly into my ear.
I relaxed against his iron hold on me. "uh..." I groaned, feeling hot. "sorry." I mumbled it and braced myself for the pain.
He sighed and let me go slowly. He slowly lifted my shirt again. "I hope I didn't scare you too much; the blood just caught me off guard." He leaned forward, seeming completely fine now. He glanced at me, clearly still worried but much less stressed. "I feed until I felt that I might vomit." He said it almost sounding disgusted in himself.
I nodded and laid back. "W-What are you doing? Does it look bad?" I asked nervously.
He let a breath out. "Did you hit a rock or something when you fell? It is mostly just a very nasty bruise but you might have a broken rib as well; you have a nasty hole in your side." He started to clean it and I shoved the pillow over my face from the pain.
It felt like it took him eons to finish it. Then there was a cooling jelly being rubbed over it and I relaxed a little. I pulled the pillow back, looking at him tiredly. "Are you done?" I asked breathless.
He tilted his head. "I think with the painful part, but up you go, I need to wrap your waist." He started to move me swiftly. It hurt but he knew if I did it on my own I would make it last longer and more painful.
I grabbed onto him as I tried to steady myself. The leg brace wasn't exactly elegant but my leg wasn't hurting so bad now. He started to undo my top layer and pulled it over my head. I stumbled a little but his hands gently grabbed me the moment I ever wobbled.
I blushed as I was just bare in front of him now. He stared for a long moment before his eyes went emotional. "Your so bruised up..." He whispered and I shivered as his fingers ran over my breast. I looked down and was surprised to see that I did have a big bruise on the same side as my injured leg.
His fingers trailed up to my collarbone and over my shoulder. "I will get you something for the pain, I promise. The ointment should help, but I know it will only do so much." He grabbed a wet rag from behind him and began giving me a thorough cleaning.
By the time Kakashi was done with me, my face was as red as a tomato, and I barely had a speck of dirt on me. He wrapped my waist in bandages and noticed he did rub his face against my chest a few times. I let him get away with it; he had done so much for me.
He looked up at me slightly amused. "They are so soft." He whispered as he ran fingers across my skin one last time before pulling a clean thigh-high cotton gown over my head. He held my face gently, running thumbs over my cheeks. "Now... for the last part. Your head..." He kissed my forehead before running his fingers over my scalp until he felt the hug welt and I winced.
