Kylie's POV:
I walked over to the girls, who were all standing and laughing together.
Ruby saw me and walked over.
"Kylie Cantrall." She said with a straight face.
"Uhhhh, yeah?" I responded nervously.
"What is going on with you and Malia? I sense tension."
I felt the heat make it to my cheeks as Ruby whispered Malias name.
I was about to respond when Malia walked out.
"No tension,"
"You spent the night at her house, I assume you will again." Ruby replied.
"Well yeah, Ruby. Just to feel safe." Ruby just nodded at me and smiled at Malia.
"Thanks for hanging girls, I had a lot of fun!" She exclaimed.
"Appreciate the invite, Ruby" Malia replied.
We all said our goodbyes and started walking to our cars.
I subtly interlocked fingers with Malia, and was slightly surprised when she didn't pull away.
We walked over to the car, I opened the door for Malia who shot me a charming smile, and we buckled up our belts.
Music was quietly playing in the back, and my hand was interlocked with Malias as she drove towards her house.
I gently rubbed my thumb along her hand, and just like that, no words had to be said.
I watched her focus on turning into her street. I watched her eye squint, as they usually do when turning. I watched her breathe softly, and I watched her lips.
We pulled into the driveway and she parked her car in the garage.
She turned to me, I was already looking at her.
"Tired?" She asked.
I smiled and looked down at her lips, before quickly bringing my gaze back up to her big brown eyes.
"Yes, and in need of company tonight?" I responded.
Her hand gently squeezed mine as she smiled back.
"You wanna sleep in my room tonight? We'll call it a slumber party," She giggled.
We got out of the car, and walked upstairs.
"Man, im exhausted," Malia said, before abruptly slapping her forehead. "And I still need to shower. Kill me now."
I walked closely next to her and talked once more.
"Need help?" I said, jokingly.
"Yes, actually." Malia was not kidding. Believe me, I analyzed as hard as possible to make sure.
"I-I-uh," I stuttered nervously.
"Oh my gosh, I have a bath bomb! Want to take a bath?" I looked at Malia, stunned at what she was implying. "With bathing suits on, of course,"
She smiled that cheeky smile and I couldn't help but smile back.
"Sure Malia, we can have a spa night." She jumped up and down and smiled.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!"
She ran to her bedroom, me close behind, and threw me a red bathing suit.
"You know, Red," She started dying at what was apparently a joke.
I pretended to laugh, purely because of how cute she was.
I went and changed into the bathing suit before walking back out, my jaw immediately dropping at the sight of her.
She was in a dark green swimsuit, and her hair was up in a bun.
She smiled at me, and looked me up and down?
"Wow, red is your color." She smiled and grabbed a ball of some sort. "Let's go bath bomb,"
We walked over to the bathroom, and it took a lot for me to not touch her.
I made sure to walk close, and once we got to the bathroom didn't hesitate to subtly rest my hand on her waist.
As she turned on the water, we just sat on the side of the tub and waited. Once it was full, she looked at me.
"Ready, Ky?" She looked like a kid in a candy store.
I smiled. Seeing her happy just, made me happy.
"Do the honors," I said.
She giggled and dropped the bath bomb into the water.
She then got up and slowly submerged her body in the bath water, and I stood in awe as I watched her chest glisten with water.
She looked at me, and when we made eye contact, I felt weak in my knees.
"Are you gonna get in, or just watch?" She said.
"Oh shoot" I laughed a little before sitting down next to her.
The water was warm, but it felt hot just being by her.
We sat in relaxed silence for a few minutes until I felt her hand on my leg.
"I had a good day today, Ky."
She rubbed her t thumb along my thigh, and got a little higher up before stopping.
Goosebumps appeared on my body and my breathing became shallow.
Being this close, her touching my leg, it all was driving me crazy.
"I agree Malia. Anything with you is amazing,"
Her thumb was still caressing my leg as she cleared her throat and spoke again.
"Need some shampoo?" She asked me, holding up the bottle. I didn't even realize she had grabbed it, my attention was all on her.
"Always," I said calmly, even though I felt very feeling but calm.
She smiled and put some shampoo in her hands, rubbing it in. She then got behind me and started to gently rub it into my hair.
Her touch felt so right. Her being with me felt so right. Her talking to me while shampooing my hair was unreal, and she was just...right.
"Is this good?" She quietly asked, still scrubbing. "I've never washed straight hair before, I have no clue what i'm doing."
She laughed a little, and so did I.
I just nodded and 'mhm'd', and so she kept going.
I closed my eyes, and leaned my head back into her lap.
Suddenly she stopped scrubbing, and even more suddenly, I felt a pair of lips on mine.
My eyes opened, then quickly closed again as I kissed her back.
She pulled away and started to scrub my hair again like nothing happened.
"Malia," I whispered, biting my lip. "You cant do that to me,"
She looked confused and furrowed her eyebrows.
"Do what? This?" She kissed me again and I immediately got up and turned to face her.
"Yes, that. You cant do it and expect me to not fall even harder for you. Because I am."
She looked at me, her eyes analyzing mine.
"I fell Kylie. You help me get back up." She said. "But, I'm not going to lie and say this is gonna be easy. I've never been with a girl, or been with anyone before."
I nodded slowly.
"Me either Malia. The girl part, at least. But I want to learn, with you."
With that, we continued the bath in
non-awkward silence, and soon enough I found myself in her bed.
