Kylie's POV:

The smile was cruel enough to give me nightmares. He looked almost unrecognizable. He looked evil.

A hand grabbed mine, and I turned to see Malia, her eyes were still on Matt, but her hand was now interlocked with mine.

"What's wrong with him? I'm getting freaked out," Ruby whispered from my other side. She also grabbed my hand, and she didn't let go of it.

"Tell you later. All I know is that he needs to go." I mumbled back. I couldn't look anywhere else. My eyes were locked on Matt's.

Ruby nodded and secretly texted someone.

Soon, we heard Josh yell. He came out of the studio running with security guards by his side.

Why was her first thought to text Josh?

Nevermind, i'm being stupid.

As they ran towards us, cop cars pulled up next to us, sirens blaring.

"What the," Matt looked genuinely shocked as he was quickly brought to the ground by security.

I was silent, my hand was shaking yet again. I had to cover my face because my eyes were welling up with tears.

I couldn't believe this. Matt of all people. He was the last person i'd ever guess to be my stalker, to put my family in danger.

But the more I thought, the more it made sense.

Matt and I hadn't really talked since we broke up. He lived in San Diego, yet I never thought twice about seeing him at the target I always go to.

The one in LA.

He knew where my parents lived, and he knew that there were cameras all over the front yard, which was probably why the stalker broke in from the back doors.

He also knows what my car looks like, which is definitely how the stalker found which one to chase.

I felt weak in my knees. I could pass out right about now.

I turned to Malia my legs wobbly,

She looked concerned, even though it was mainly death glaring Matt. She drew all of her attention to me and forced me to look in her eyes.

"It's okay, Ky. It'll be okay," I rubbed her hand and her arm, anywhere I could touch.

Contact with her made everything feel safer, even though I know i'm not.

"I'm so scared, how could I be so stupid?" I asked, my voice barely audible. But Malia heard me.

"It's gonna be okay Kylie. I promise. I got you," Malia said, never looking away from my eyes.

She hugged me, I just bawled into her shoulders.

When I looked up again, Matt was fighting the security guard that tacked him back, but he was losing.

I looked back up to the fence where the blonde girl was just a second ago, but she was nowhere to be found.

That killed me.

Malias hand held mine tightly. As my eyes stayed on her, her gaze never once left Matt.

She looked like she could kill him, and I had a feeling that if I let go of her hand, she would.

As I looked back down to the security guard and my crazy ex, he locked eyes with me.

Fear immediately crossed my body. I've never been scared of Matt before. But this was a whole new side of him.

"This isn't over, Kylie." He said, his smile remaining. "You'll be mine soon enough."

I couldn't form words. My hands trembled at an ungodly speed.

Malia did her best to comfort me, touching my hand, resting her shoulder against mine, she was really trying.

Matt began to laugh, the screeching sound haunting my memory.

Matt was brought to a standing position and taken away in a vehicle.

A few minutes passed by. The entire outside, along with everyone in it was silent.

No words could be formed. The only people that truly knew what was going on was me and Malia.

Nobody else has seen the stalker, half of the cast and crew didn't even know i've been stalked before.

God, Ruby didn't even know until last night. I tell her everything, too.

Security came over to us three girls, and began asking questions.

I admitted everything. How my parents house had been broken into, how Malia and I saw the girl yesterday, everything.

They proceeded to ask me about the girl, and thirty minutes later, one guard came back with her.

Her hands were cuffed and behind her back, and her head was hung low. The guard had her sit in the back of an empty cop car and they were going to drive away too.

Before the car started to move, I got a good look at her face. Something about it felt familiar, but I couldn't place it.

The car sped off, sirens blasting through the entire area.

The sounds echoed through my brain, my mind was consumed by memories of every time i've seen Matt since the breakup.

I wondered how I could ever believe he was a good person. I wondered how I got so fooled, so head over heels for such a horrible person.

Even though they were both gone, I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach that this encounter wasn't over.

It was just a matter of when.

"Ky," I turned to Malia, finally taken out of my frozen state.

"I'm okay, it's okay." I lied through my teeth, denying any question she could ask before she even asked it.

Malia knew I was denying, that I wasn't telling the truth. Ruby knew it too. But they didn't push. They know who I am, and they knew that I wouldn't budge.

"Let's go," Malia said, gently squeezing my arm.

"Time to go back to my place?" Ruby said at the same time.

I smiled. My heart felt warm and I felt seen and heard. These girls know exactly what I need exactly when I need it. I couldn't ask for anyone better. I'm so blessed.

"I love you guys. And yes, yes please." I said, my tremble finally dying down.

They both smiled at me.

We walked in a line in silence until Ruby fell behind.

I turned to look at her, as did Malia.

We saw Josh run up to her and hug her. He placed both hands on her face and checked it make sure every part of her was okay.

He joined us walking and it turned out he'd be coming to Ruby's house too.

Malia leaned her head closer to my ear and began to whisper.

"What's going on with them?" She asked me, partially on an honest level and also partially trying to change the subject in my mind.

It was working. Anything Malia does will work.

"I don't know, but we have to ask tonight." I responded, looking at my girl.

She just smiled and laughed.

That smile, that laugh.

Despite Ruby and Malias best efforts, something was still seriously wrong.

I couldn't get the image of the girls face out of my brian. I've seen her somewhere, I know I have.

But where?
