Malias POV:

I woke up from what was arguably the best sleep of my life.

I sat up, unable to see straight due to the brightness of the room.

Once my eyes adjusted to the lighting change, I realized I was still downstairs.

I looked down at where I was sitting, and sure enough, Kylie and Ruby were both passed out on the couch next to me.

I smiled, and moved some hair from Kylie's face.

She looked so peaceful sleeping. Drastic change compared to yesterday, and it made sense.

I couldn't even imagine the fear that Kylie was probably facing. It was something I just had to be there for her with, as I've never experienced it myself.

I tried to be quiet as I stood up, but failed horribly.

There was some sort of pillow on the ground underneath me, and I didn't realize it until I literally tripped and fell over it.

I fell onto the coffee table, trying my hardest to not hit my already hurt wrist.

The sound of my fall was clearly loud enough to wake the girls up, as they both groaned and sat up in perfect harmony.

Ruby was the first to open her eyes, and when she saw me laying sprawled out on the floor, she burst out laughing.

"Oh my gosh, did you fall?" She said in between gasps for air.

Kylie's eyes were quick to open once she realized what Ruby had said.

"Are you okay? Is your wrist okay?" She stood up, helping lift me off of the ground.

I laughed, my smile apparent.

"Yes, i'm fine Ky." I said, dusting myself off. "Youre supposed to laugh when stuff like that happens,"

Kylie looked very confused.

"Why would I laugh? You could have gotten hurt."

I looked at Ruby, who was already staring at the two of us in utter and complete awe.

This girl was such a supporter of us, it made me feel like less of a sinner and more of a normal person.

"Anyways," Ruby said, voice a low hum. "We have to eat and get going to the behind the scenes shoot,"

Kylie looked at me and I nodded.

"You are very right, let's go brush our teeth," Kylie said, walking up to the bathroom.

I stayed behind, lookin at Ruby.

"She said us. That means you girl," Ruby said, smiling as I finally registered Kylie's voice. "Go get your girl,"

I just smiled and jogged to catch up to Kylie.

We brushed our teeth together. Kylie was rinsing out her mouth by the time I started singing happy birthday for the second time.

I've always been very particular about brushing my teeth, similar to pretty much everything else I do.

I've sang happy birthday twice every single time I brush my teeth since I was four. It's the only way I feel like my teeth are super clean.

Weird, I know.

Kylie just stared at me, an unreadable expression across her face as I spit out the last of my toothpaste.

As soon as my mouth was rinsed off and I was drying my lips with my towel, Kylie grabbed my face and kissed me.

"Wowza you take a long time," She said as she pulled away. "I was waiting there like a freak."
