Malias POV:

I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

I stayed with Kylie at Rubys house for about a week after getting back from the police station.

A week ago, I left Rubys and decided to come back home. Kylie was initially going to stay in central LA with Ruby, but made the last minute decision to come with me.

Josh and Ruby knew why, but nobody said anything.

Back to the knock on my door.

"Malia?" I heard Kylies gentle voice from outside the wooden doorframe.

I wanted to respond, to call her name, to tell her I loved her.

But, like this whole past week, I couldn't make a sound.

Ruby lied and told Jennifer that Kylie and I both got the stomach bug, so filming has been postponed until we 'get better'.

My door opened, and I was wholely expected Kylie to do what shes been doing everyday the last seven days.

Walk in, force me to eat or drink, sit on my bed and talk, and then leave and come back an hour later.

But I was wrong.

I remained laying on my side as Kylie stepped into my bedroom.

She quietly walked up to the other side of
my bed and sat next to me.

"Malia," Her hand rubbed my back.

Any kind of touch from Kylie usually sends shivers down my spine, and makes me nervous. But even though her hand stayed on my back, I couldn't feel it.

Everything was numb.

Since my last talk with Shay, I haven't been able to think clearly. Or think at all.

Kylie's came into my room and talked to me for hours on end, yet even though I sat and heard, I couldn't listen.

I was numb to all outer existence. I was helpless.

Days felt like years, minutes felt like hours.

Despite everyday feeling like an eternity, so many days passed by without me even noticing.

"Malia, Im worried about you. I understand that you're going through a hard time, but I need you to speak. I need to know where your mind is at." Kylie spoke, her hand still on my back.

I stayed laid on my side. I felt a tear roll down my cheek, and that was the first time I even realized I was crying.

I wasn't aware I had any more tears left.

"I love you Malia, which is why Im about to do this." Kylie's voice got serious, her hand left my back and she got up off of the bed.

I thought Kylie left.

Heck, I would've left myself a week ago when it got this bad.

But I was wrong.

I felt two hands on my ankles, and a massive pull made me fly off of my bed.
