Malias POV:

My eyes were locked on Kylie as she was deep in thought about how to answer the question.

"Hmmm, honestly?" Kylie said.

I truly had no clue on what she was going to say. Me and Kylie's outings have never truly been fully 'platonic', and making somehting up on the spot can be caught easily, especially on camera.

I was curious to see what Kylie would go with. Her hand came to mine, giving it a gentle rub as she talked.

Recently I've learned that physical touch takes both of our nervous anxiousness away, especially during interviews.

"Some of the bonding we did right away. On the meet the cast day, our director, Jennifer had us all randomly select someone we didn't know and spend the entire day together, sure enough I got Malia," Kylie looked at me and smiled.

I just know our chemistry in this video is gonna make fans question everything, so I tried to distance a little bit.

Kylie continued her rant.

"Malia and I went to the movies, and again, we honestly bonded the second we did the chemistry read, it's insane how close we got in such a short amount of time."

Kylie licked her lips nervously, her eyes on Matt. My eyes were on her.

Matt seemed satisfied enough, so went on to asking his next question.

"So far you guys are what, halfway done with shooting? A little less?"

Kylie and I simultaneously nodded as Matt went on.

"What is one thing you're most excited about, for the viewers experience?"

Kylie turned to me, and I knew it was my turn to answer.

"These are good questions," I locked eyes with Kylie who laughed alongside me. "Honestly, the songs. We have so many important moments and conversations that are dealt with through lyrics, and I think it's a very special experience and tradition through these films."

Kylie nodded, as did Matt. He turned to her.

"Kylie, how about you?"

"As much as I agree with Malia, which is one hundred percent, i'm also very excited for, especially the younger viewers, to meet this new generation of VK's, and royals. I know how much the previous movies meant to me, and I just want Malia, Ruby, Dara, and honestly everyone to be able to experience being that person for someone else."

Matt nodded.

He asked us each about five more questions before wrapping up the shoot.

This video was a total of eleven minutes, but took nearly three hours to shoot, so Kylie and I were starving once we finished.

As Kylie and I started walking towards the exit to go get food, Matt came behind us, running.

"Girls, I don't know what kind of acting that was, but man! Your guys' chemistry is insane, if it was fake, it was good. I truly believed you guys have genuine love for eachother. I hope to interview you again once the movie is released."

With that, Matt smiled, hugged us each, and walked away.

Kylie and I just looked at eachother for a moment. I was about to say something, but she just smiled and opened the door.

As Kylie and I exited the building, I looked at her deeply. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on in her mind. I could no longer ask, no longer tell.

That's my own fault.

It's for the best, right?

"Want sit down or drive-thru?" Kylie asked me as we neared my car. She opened my door, as she usually does.

"Well, we gotta go home first." I said, sitting down in my seat.

"Why?" Kylie looked confused. "I thought you said you were starving?"

"I am, I just need to go grab my wallet."

Kylie did a loving scoff and pushed my shoulder gently.

"Girl, you know I got you. Where do you want to go?"

'i got you' seemed to be Kylie's favorite, and most common thing to say to me. God, this girl.

"You choose, Kylie." I just smiled and buckled up my seat. "But Thank you."

"Of course, least I can do. Afterwards do you wanna just drive straight to my place? Traffic is gonna be insane if we go back home and then leave."

"I don't have clothes,"

"I do. You can borrow some of mine."

"Thanks, Kylie."

"I got you." Kylie closed my door, jogged over to the drivers side, at sat down.

Her flowery perfume filled the air in my small mercedes.

Kylie started to drive the car, pulling out of the now empty lot, and onto the street.

"How does sushi sound?" Kylie asked.

Everytime we go out to eat, Kylie chooses a place with fish because i'm a pescatarian. Every little thing, Kylie remembers.

"Sushi sounds great, but is that really what you want?" I asked.

Kylie looked at me and smiled.

"Honestly I don't even care what we eat. As long as i'm with you," She said, looking over at me.

It was almost as if she forgot we were just friends, as soon as she realized we were making intense eye contact, she looked away.

I gave a friendly smile.

"Okay then, thank you Ky," I put my hand on her leg, oblivious to the fact that it could come off flirty.

Everything felt so natural with Kylie, I never really thought twice about anything.

It was too late now, so I left my hand there.

Kylie looked down at my hand and I saw a slight smile creep up as she began to stare down the road again.

We drove for a solid fifteen minutes before making it to our favorite sushi place.

We were seated by our regular waiter, and placed our usual order.

Kylie got a spicy tuna roll and I got sashimi salad.

As we waited, we just sat and stared at eachother from across the table.

"That interview was interesting," Kylie said, taking a sip of her water.

"Most definitely," I replied, nodding my head. "If that took three hours, imagine how long they're gonna take once the movies actually released."

Kylie's eyes went wide and she nodded.

"Exactly, I didn't even think about that." We both laughed before I looked into her eyes once more. "But honestly, the time always flies when we're together."

I was in awe of the words she said, in awe of how understanding and caring she is, in awe of Kylie Cantrall.
