Kylie's POV:

"Shay..."

Malia's voice was so loud and demanding when she confronted Matt, but she was barely audible right now.

I got a good look at Shay. She looked just as bad as Matt did. Maybe even worse.

I wasn't really affected when we saw Matt at the entrance.

I mean, obviously I was concerned, but now I knew who Matt truly was.

I also wasn't that surprised that he was here. He was the one introduced me to the place, and he lives like five minutes away.

If it wasn't good, I wouldn't have brought Malia, but this sushi was the best in LA, so I just had to bring her.

Matt was a psycho now. It's been apparent, so it didn't surprise me as much anymore.

The thing that was surprising about this interaction with Shay, was that she doesn't live in LA.

It was complete coincidence that she was here on the same night as us, at this same exact late time.

Or maybe it wasn't a coincidence?

I was thinking as hard as I've ever thought, but got taken out of the daze when I heard the weird girl speak for the first time.

"Malia." She stood there, her face completely straight.

This girl was the reason for Malia's depression. The reason I almost lost her, yet she has the audacity to come over and call her by the name?

Ruby leaned over towards me, to whisper in my ear.

"That's the Shay that..."

I just nodded. Yes. It was the Shay 'that'.

I probably shouldn't have, but I just had to step in.

"You can leave. We all know you're here with Matt."

The blondes eyes quickly darted over to me.

She looked at me with hate and seemed like she was about to yell, but she just closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"You guys have to hear me out before he comes back."

I rolled my eyes. This girl was ruining our dinner by the second.

Well, it was ruined the moment we talked to Matt. She was just adding onto it.

"You're right. I am here with Matt." She said.

Ruby and I both sat up, curious to see what Malia was going to say.

She didn't disappoint.

"You have two seconds to say what you want to say before I call the police, Shay."

Shay's gaze looked almost remorseful?

"Matt is planning something really really bad. He bought a bunch of guns and weapons yesterday, and-"

"-What makes you think we're just going to believe what you have to say?" I just had to interrupt.

Shay looked at me, an annoyed expression on her face.

"I don't know, maybe because he told me? In case you couldn't tell, when I agreed to following you guys once, I became his all time slave."

Malia cleared her throat,

"Why would he want to do that? He's already gotten caught, why would he want to do something like that again?"

Shay turned her focus back to Malia.
