Tamar's POV:

Merry Christmas, everyone! Toni had been in labor for the past week almost and just yesterday her water broke and today she was fully dilated. I never knew that labor could be that long, but I guess you learn something new every day. Today her contractions were so close apart Dr. Jackie said that she would definitely have the baby by the end of the day. Toni was in the tub, in excruciating pain.
I feel bad for my boo, but she was a warrior so I knew that she had it. Kenny rubbed her shoulders showing support and Dr Jackie checked Toni's blood pressure again, it was going up and down and we were worried.

"You're doing so good Baby, Just a little while longer than he'll be out"

Toni groaned, moving around the water, she reached out for my hand and I grabbed hers.

"Whatchu need boo?"

"Bag"

I grabbed a waste bag and opened it for Toni.
She had been puking all day, I felt bad for her.

"Here you want more ice cubes?"

"Yeah"

She faintly said and I handed her a cup with ice in it. Right then, she paused because she had a contraction.

"Ouuu"

She yelled out. She squeezed me and Kenny's hand and he talked her through her contraction.

"You got this baby, breathe in through your nose and out your mouth"

"Ahhh owww"

"It's okay Toni, push through your contraction"

Dr Jackie said putting gloves on.

"I can't!"

"You can tone, come on boo. You got this."

Toni pushed through her contraction and when it came to an end, Dr Jackie had to examine her a little.

So while she did that, I went downstairs to check on Tianna and Teyanna who was cooking dinner.

"I hope y'all not burning down the house"

"We're not Aunty, I promise"

Tianna said laughing.

"What y'all got left to cook?"

"So everything is pretty done, the macaroni and cheese has another hour to cook and we just took the yams out. Now we just finished making Christmas's cookies with Kensley and we're about to make a cake that says, Welcome to the world Kenji."
