Many Months Later
Toni's POV
Finally my life was back to normal...kinda. KJ's case was solved although that whore was pregnant she aborted the baby, Tatianna sent Marty's bitch ass to jail for life. Kenny and I transferred the kids school across town so they didn't have to face drama following certain situations. KJ went into the Military, Teyanna is doing dance competition and traveling every weekend, Tatianna is doing better we got her into therapy and she's working hard in school so she can do pre-law in college, Kenston stopped wrestling and started going lacrosse and basketball, Tianna had recently created my gown for the met gala and she did so good other friends in the industry wanted her to make their dress. Kaiya, Kensley and Kenji were growing up so fast and overall Kenny and I couldn't be more proud. We settled on not having another baby because we already had so much to deal with already. We were having with our big family and it couldn't get any better.

Today we were outside enjoying a beautiful sunny summer day. So we decided to grill out and have a pool day!
" Toni, these burgers are almost ready! Can you grab the buns from the kitchen? Kenny said flipping the burgers."
"Sure thing, babe!"I said giving Kenji to Tamar. I went in and grabbed the buns and came out.
Kaiya came up to be after emerging from the pool, dripping wet."Mom, can I have some of those watermelon slices?"
"Absolutely, Kaiya. Just make sure you dry off first!"
"Hey, Mom, watch this!"Teyanna said doing a blackflip into the pool.
"Nice form, Teyanna! You're going to kill that next competition."
"I'm so glad we're all together today. It feels like we haven't had a family day in ages." Tatianna said as she fed her face with appetizers.
Tianna wobbled over to the table holding her back and sat down. "Mom, I've got a few new dress designs I want to show you later. I think you'll love them."
"I can't wait to see them, Tianna. You're so talented and Mariah Carey wants you to make her dress for Christmas"
"That's not until 6 months from now"
"Yeah I know but you know every year she goes in and out with the bank for Christmas, but you know I'll have good money into your pocket because you'll have that baby before then"
"Yeah Niecy look and Mariah will give you some bank!"
Tamar said as she lounged on a deck chair, her sunglasses perched on her head.
"Yeah, it's been a while since we've all had a chance to relax like this,"I replied, adjusting my sunglasses. "It's nice to just enjoy the moment."
KJ, who had come home on leave, walked over and gave me a hug. "I've missed this. It's good to be back, even if it's just for a little while."
"We've missed you too, KJ,"I said, squeezing him tight. "And we're so proud of everything you're doing."
As the day went on, we laughed, played games, and shared stories. The kids splashed around in the pool, their laughter echoing through the yard. Kenny and I watched them, feeling a sense of peace and fulfillment.
"Hey, everyone, gather around!" Kenny called out. "Let's get a family photo to remember this day."
We all huddled together, arms around each other, smiling for the camera. In that moment, I realized just how far we'd come and how much we had to be grateful for. Our family had faced challenges, but we had come out stronger and closer than ever.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the yard, I felt a deep sense of contentment. Life wasn't perfect, but it was ours, and it was beautiful in its own way.
"To family," I whispered, raising my glass in a silent toast. "To love, resilience, and the moments that make it all worthwhile."
And with that, we continued to enjoy our day, knowing that whatever came next, we would face it together.
