I took a deep breath, looking conflicted. I looked at my family and confessed.
"I plead guilty to possession, but I swear I was set up. I never sold anything at school."
The courtroom murmured with disbelief. My lawyer, rised to defend me.
"Mr. Edmonds, you have admitted to possession, but you claim you were set up regarding the selling charges. Is there anything else you wish to say in your defense?"
"Your Honor, I was pressured and manipulated. I never intended to sell drugs"
The judge nodded thoughtfully, considering my words. "Very well, Mr. Edmonds. We will take your statement into account. Does the prosecution have any further questions at this time?"
The prosecutor stood up, adjusting her glasses."Yes, Your Honor. Mr. Edmonds, can you explain why the drugs were found in your locker if you claim you were set up?"
I took another deep breath, trying to stay calm."I don't know how they got there. I suspect someone planted them to frame me. I've been trying to stay out of trouble, but it seems like someone wants to see me fall."
The judge looked at me with a mix of skepticism and understanding."This is a serious accusation, Mr. Edmonds. Do you have any evidence to support your claim?"
My lawyer interjected,"Your Honor, we are currently gathering evidence to support Mr. Edmonds' claim. We request additional time to present a comprehensive defense."
The judge nodded. "Very well. Court is sent into recess. We will reconvene with any new evidence presented by both parties in a hour."
The gavel banged, and the courtroom began to empty. I felt a mix of relief and anxiety, knowing that soon would be another crucial time in proving my innocence.

Additionally, we have another crucial piece of evidence," the lawyer continued, pulling out a video recording from a small device."This video, Your Honor, shows Ava meeting with KJ on multiple occasions, pressuring him into taking actions he would not have otherwise considered."
