Toni's POV

I paced the hospital room, my heart racing with each contraction Tianna endured. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions—excitement, fear, and an overwhelming sense of love for my daughter.

"You're doing great, Tianna," I whispered, holding her hand. "Just a little longer."

Tianna groaned, her face contorted in pain. "Mom, I can't do this anymore. It hurts so much."

I squeezed her hand tighter. "I know, sweetheart. But you're so strong. You can do this. We're all here with you."

After 37 grueling hours, the Dr. Jackie finally announced, "It's time to push, Tianna. You're almost there."

Tianna let out a cry of determination and began to push. Moments later, the room was filled with the sound of a newborn's cry.

"It's a boy!" the doctor exclaimed, holding up the tiny, squirming baby.

"What?" Tianna gasped, tears streaming down her face. "They said it was a girl!"

We all laughed through our tears, overwhelmed with joy and surprise. I leaned down to kiss Tianna's forehead.
"You did it, honey. You have a beautiful baby boy."

After 37 grueling hours, Tianna finally gave birth. We were all stunned when the doctor announced, "It's a boy!" after we had been expecting a girl. The room filled with joyous laughter and tears as we welcomed my first grandchild.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Tianna's voice was filled with panic.

In amidst the celebration, a sharp pain shot through my abdomen. I tried to brush it off, focusing on Tianna and her baby, but the pain intensified. I clutched my stomach, feeling a wave of dizziness wash over me. The next thing I knew-

The next thing I knew, I was on a hospital bed with cords hooked up to me and doctors and nurses surrounding me.

"Toni, you need to start pushing," Dr Jackie said urgently. "You're having a baby."

I stared at him in disbelief. "What? How is that possible?"

"There's no time to explain," she replied.
"You need to push now."

Kenny, who had been by my side grabbed my hand, his eyes wide with shock but filled with unwavering support. "I'm here, Toni. You can do this."

The room was filled with urgency as the nurses prepared the equipment.  I pushed with all my strength, my body and mind in a state of utter confusion and determination. After what felt like an eternity, I heard the sweet, unmistakable cry of a newborn.

"Keep breathing, Toni. You're doing great,"
Dr Jackie encouraged, giving me a reassuring smile.

"I don't remember being pregnant!" I exclaimed, gripping the sides of the bed.

"You're having and had a cryptic pregnancy Toni!
It's okay, Stay calm. Focus on pushing," Dr. Jackie insisted, her voice firm but gentle. "On the count of three, give me a big push. One, two, three!"

I took a deep breath and pushed with all my might. The pain was overwhelming, but I felt a strange determination rising within her.

"That's it, keep going!" Kenny cheered.
"You're almost there!"

"I can see the head," Dr. Jackie announced.
"Just a few more pushes, Toni."

My heart pounded as I gathered her strength for another push. "I can't believe this is happening," I exclaimed in my thoughts.

"You've got this, Toni. You're so strong," Kenny said, holding my hand tightly.

With one final, intense push, the room was suddenly filled with the sound of a baby's cry.

"It's a girl!" Dr. Jackie exclaimed, lifting the newborn and placing her gently on my chest.

I looked down at the tiny, wailing infant, tears streaming down her face. "She's beautiful,"
I whispered, overwhelmed with emotion.

"Congratulations, Toni," Dr Jackie said softly.
"You did it."
Tears streamed down my face as I cradled her in my arms, the reality of the moment sinking in. I had just given birth to a beautiful baby girl, completely unexpected but already so deeply loved.

Kenny kissed my forehead, his eyes glistening with tears. "We did it," he whispered. "Our family just got a little bigger."

Life had thrown us a curveball, but we had faced it together, as a family. And in that moment, surrounded by love and new beginnings, I knew that everything was exactly as it was meant to be.
