Seungmin pov.
I woke up feeling that something was wrong. Even though it was still morning, and sleep seemed to be slowly fading, I had the feeling that I hadn't fully left that strange reality I experienced during the night. The image of Jeongin, the darkness, the door... I still felt like something had happened, something I didn't understand, but that couldn't be ignored.
I got up, stretching, and although I tried to force my mind to think of something else, I still felt like something from that dream was stuck in me, not letting me forget.
I went down to the bathroom, thinking that a moment alone might help me calm down. After a few minutes, I returned to my room and then headed to the kitchen. When I entered, I saw Jeongin standing at the counter, preparing breakfast.
Wait, what? What is he doing here at this time? He had never come this early before, at least not without a reason. That's when I felt a strange tension fill the whole space. Before I could ask what was going on, Jeongin glanced at me with one uncertain look, and I felt something I couldn't name.
Damn, something's wrong. I felt like I had forgotten something important. Something had slipped away from me, but I didn't know what. Jeongin's gaze was strange, a little blurry, as if he was thinking about something else. Suddenly, I had the feeling that this situation... wasn't normal.
“Hey... is breakfast ready?” I asked, trying to stay calm, although I felt confused inside. What is he doing here so early? What's going on?
Jeongin shrugged, giving a slight smile, but there was something in his eyes that I couldn't figure out. And that "something" made me feel like I was standing on the edge of something I shouldn't be seeing. I don't know, maybe it's just my imagination, but it seemed like something had changed.
I could feel it in the air. Something didn’t fit, but I didn't know how to name it.

We had been walking for a few minutes when I started to feel like Jeongin wasn't himself. Usually, he was calm, relaxed, but now, even with the beautiful weather, there was some unsettling energy in his eyes. He was walking faster than usual, not looking at me, as if he had something on his mind. I felt like something was wrong, but I didn’t want to bother him with questions. Maybe I was just overthinking it, maybe it didn't matter.
We kept walking for a few more minutes, until we reached the end of the path, where we saw three of our friends – Felix, Hyunjin, and Han, standing by the curb. Their surprise was almost palpable when they saw us together, especially Jeongin.
“Hey!” Hyunjin shouted, walking towards us, but his gaze, despite the smile, kept drifting between the two of us. Felix looked at Jeongin with clear interest, as if he was trying to notice something he couldn’t quite grasp. Jisung, on the other hand, didn’t seem surprised, but his gaze was full of strange suspicion.
“What’s going on?” Felix asked, looking at Jeongin. “Didn’t we tell you... what are you doing with Seungmin?”
Jeongin blinked, paused for a moment, then turned his head, as if trying not to draw attention to himself. “Nothing. We’re just walking.” he answered briefly, without conviction.
I could feel the tension rising as the boys started to get uncertain. Jeongin hadn’t told them why we were here, which meant something was starting to change, and I still wasn't sure what was happening. A troubling thought appeared in my head, like each of us had something we weren't talking about, some secret we didn't want to reveal. My gut feeling grew, but I didn’t know if it was just my suspicions.
“Wait...” Hyunjin began, noticing that Jeongin clearly didn't want to talk about anything. “Why are you even with him? Recently... you didn’t seem like someone who would want to cooperate with Seungmin.”
