Changbin stopped by the door before grabbing the handle, taking a deep breath. He wanted to be sure he conveyed what happened to Minho properly. He spoke to himself, trying to organize his thoughts in his head.
“Minho” he started, entering the room “Seungmin called. We need to go to Chan's house.”
Minho, sitting at the desk, looked at him with a furrowed brow, as if trying to understand what was going on.
“Is something wrong?” he asked, lifting his gaze from the phone.
“Yes, something was discovered. Apparently, something that shouldn't exist.” Changbin glanced towards the door, as if making sure no one was eavesdropping. “They say it might be crucial. Connected to the case. And it’s about... a cult.”
Minho stayed silent for a moment, the tension clear in his eyes.
“A cult?” he repeated, surprised. “I thought we were done with this...”
At that moment, the door opened, and Jisung stood in the doorway, a worried look on his face.
“Wait, wait” he said, stepping inside. “If this is true, I can’t be left behind. I want to see what they found, especially if Seungmin was right.”
Minho frowned, looking at him.
“Jisung, I’m not sure this is a good idea. It could be dangerous. I don’t want you to get in trouble.”
Jisung was undeterred. His eyes showed determination.
“They’re my friends. I want to be with them, no matter what they found. No arguments, I’m coming with you.”
Minho glanced at Changbin, who simply shrugged, as if saying “what can I do?”.
“Damn it, fine.” Minho finally sighed. “But remember, if this blows up, you’ll want it. We have no idea what we’re getting into.”
Jisung just smiled, his eyes showing no sign of doubt.
“I know. But I won’t leave them alone.” He added, not breaking eye contact with Minho.

They arrived at the place, entering Chan’s empty, cold house. The darkness that hung in the air didn’t match the friendly atmosphere Chan had always tried to create, but now the place was filled with mystery.
Seungmin and Jeongin looked surprised at Jisung, who had appeared unexpectedly, walking alongside Changbin and Minho.
“What are you doing here?” Jeongin asked, not hiding his surprise, but also a hint of concern.
Jisung smiled lightly, shrugging his shoulders.
“You’re my friends, so I’m not leaving you in something like this.” His gaze shifted to the rest of the group, but there was no sign of fear. “Besides, I don’t see a reason not to check out what’s going on.”
Minho looked at Seungmin, who began to explain what they had discovered.
“I had some kind of strange vision.” He started, giving a quick glance at Jeongin, who nodded, confirming. “I wanted to check it out, so we went to Chan’s. He admitted he had something like that in his house, so we decided to go inside. And...” Seungmin paused, his voice trembling “we found some important documents.”
“What kind of documents?” Changbin asked, looking at them with clear interest.
Seungmin went silent for a moment, a trace of worry in his eyes as he remembered what they had seen.
