The trio walked out of Fortree, passing the sign spelling out 'Route 120; Home of the Ancient Tomb'. The Route appeared to be nothing special at first, being a long plain of tall grass that they had come to expect from the routes of Hoenn. Only difference? The Route was vast. Very vast. A look to the right showed the route, going on for miles and miles on end. You could see one bridge somewhat close, then one barely visible in the distance, with pools of water down below the wooden constructions. Lucas smiled as he looked ahead, commenting,

"Looks like we got a while to travel!"

"That's not a problem. It's peaceful after all, if we ever get tired, we can just set down and camp out for a bit.", Seijo responded as he looked through the tall grass. "But, for now, why don't you guys get acquainted with the wild Pokémon of the route?"

"Let's do it!", Lucas said as he dove headfirst into the tall grass to see what he could find, with Ellie more cautiously following behind, popping Swampert out of its Pokeball so she was never caught off guard. Lucas slunk low in the tall grass, looking for any new Pokémon he hadn't found before. He heard rustling in the grass so there was clearly something nearby, but Lucas couldn't see anything. He waded through until his foot hit against a rock. Except, when he looked down, it just looked like grassland. What had hit his foot then? But, as he looked further, he realized something.

"That's not grass...", he spoke, as the grass suddenly sprouted from the tall grass, jumping into the air, revealing itself by removing its camouflage.

"It's a Pokémon!"

Ellie quickly looked up and scanned the odd looking thing. Green in colour except for a red sharp stripe across its belly. It had a long curled up green tail that aided it in moving, allowing it to bounce along more easily.

Kecleon, The Colour Swap Pokémon.

Kecleon alters its body colouration to blend in with its surroundings, allowing it to sneak up on its prey unnoticed. Then it lashes out with its long, stretchy tongue to instantly ensnare the unsuspecting target.

Ellie looked at the Pokémon again and found it transforming its shape, before delving into the tall grass. Lucas watched it dive into the tall grass and yelled,

"After it!"

Ellie and Lucas quickly dove after it, while Seijo merely chuckled, watching from the sidelines with a smile. He kept Crobat's Pokeball on hand in case things ever got dicey, but he never intended on using it. They'd come too far to be put in serious danger by a mere Kecleon. Especially with Ellie having a giant Swampert standing by her side and protecting her against anything, no matter what. Lucas pulled out Magnemite as his first Pokémon, commanding,

"Thunder Wave!"

A small jolt of electricity emitted from Magnemite, brushing past the grass, attempting to hit something. But, the Thunder Wave only hit the ground, burning it with its electricity, leaving a charred piece of ground behind it. Even worse, Kecleon looked to be nowhere in sight. But, Lucas had another idea for what he could try and do. He looked to Ellie, saying,

"Cover your ears. Tell Swampert to too."

"You heard him.", said Ellie as she looked towards the Water starter, them both nodding and covering their ears. Lucas covered his own as he cried,

"Use Supersonic!"

Magnemite let out a small supersonic wave in the surrounding areas, not big enough to disturb more areas than it needed to, but just strong enough that it would catch out any Pokemon in the nearby area. Such as a camouflaged Kecleon. The Colour Swap Pokemon popped out of the tall grass, its disguise faded and its eyes swirled. Lucas smiled, crying,
