"GUYS, COME CHECK THIS OUT!"
A call sounded throughout the Weather Institute as all the scientists suddenly crowded around a singular computer, trying to see what the fuss was about. They saw red flags sprout up all across Route 120, with warnings of sudden increases in wind, so strong that it could've potentially been a hurricane, tornado, Pokemon or manmade. Either way, the scientists were instantly captivated. The one at the desk navigating the computer turned and shouted,
"Who is with us for a trip to Route 120?!?"
Instantly, all but one scientist's hands went up. A particular brown-haired scientist kept his hand down, the others looking curiously at him.
"You don't want to get out into the big world and see weather work its magic in person?", asked one of the scientists with a strange look. But, the scientist waved off those comments, smiling and saying,
"Someone's gotta look after this place. So, I'll take care while you all are gone."
"If you say so, new guy.", one of the scientists spoke out as they quickly dispersed. They combed the place for every last piece of equipment they needed, shutting off all their computers connected to the main terminal, and locking up the place. One last check, before riding out on their Pokemon into the Routes beyond Fortree. The scientist waved at the others as they made their way away, watching as they disappeared amongst the trees, or into the horizon above. The scientist smiled, then turned back into the facility.

"LUCAS!"
That scream ran through Lucas' head as the world started to fade in again around him. Lucas looked around, finding a dense fog surrounding himself. He couldn't see a thing beyond a few yards, nor could he see anything besides or near to him. He looked over his shoulder for his backpack. Thankfully, it hadn't slunk too far away from him, lying a few steps away from where he had landed. He quickly scurried over, checking to make sure that everything was still inside just as he had left it. Thankfully, not a single thing was out of place. He breathed a sigh of relief. Quickly grabbing Combusken's Pokeball, he lobbed it into the air then watched it crack out onto the ground. Combusken emerged, stretching its limbs and looking at Lucas. Then, it looked around for anyone else. But, it appeared to only be them.
"We're split up from the others. And I think we're a good distance from them too.", Lucas took a deep breath, freaking himself out more as he spoke, yet still making sure to reassure himself, "But we'll find them."
He dived to the ground, scrounging around for some sort of stick that he could use as a torch. It didn't take long to find one, then hold it up to his partner. Combusken knelt close to the stick, creating a small Ember that lit up the torch, a shining beacon through the dense and dark fog. Even his Rotom Phone wouldn't have done as much as the torch. Lucas waved it around, yet the flame still held steady on the top of the stick. Lucas smiled, feeling the slight heat from the torch burn bright, as he said,
"Let's get going then."

"LUCAS!"
Ellie and Seijo saw Lucas suddenly disappear into the distance, their world tumbling and shaking around them. Then, they too were thrown into the air, quickly spiralling through the dense and rushing air, clinging onto each other desperately, trying not to get lost again. The wind blew them about like rag dolls for what felt like an eternity, spinning out of control before the wind started to calm. The fog was still deep, and dense. So, as they rushed to the ground, they had no idea what would await them at the bottom. Then, the fog could no longer block what was beneath them. The rushing water of the lake.
