Will and I made it official after the homecoming dance and it's been almost two months now. everything has been calm and well. but tonight, tonight is thanksgiving.

It's been two and a half months now since Will's dad was discharged and they went back home. Tonight both of them will also be joining.

Other mentionable guests include almost the entire surgical staff. these types of dinners had previously been off limits after the one where Penny showed up. But we're trying again.

-------

It was almost 9, when Uncle Mark and Aunt Lexie came to help cook. Aunt Lexie looked like she was about to pop, she was eight months along now.

"Hiii" She smiled as I opened the door. "Happy thanksgiving kiddo" Mark laughed heading to the kitchen.

"Bailey what are you doing?" I exclaimed seeing my cousin stood up on a chair. This house was already pure chaos. Taking Bailey and Ellis I went to check out the screaming from the kitchen.

"PUT IT IN THE OVEN" Mark shouted frustrated. "IM TRYING TO MAKE SURE WE PLUCKED IT RIGHT" Mer defended. "YOU BOUGHT IT AT THE STORE!" He explained.

"You look cute" My mom complimented. "Thank you" I saw down beside her laughing at the chaos in front of us.

"When's Will coming?" she wondered. "He said probably around five after his dad's scan" I answered. "Oh yes I forgot about that, tell them they're in our prayers" she offered.

"You know he wasn't all that bad to have around" my mom smiled remembering when he lived with us. "He wasn't was he?" I chuckled.

-------

"We brought the pie!" Alex walked in offering the dessert. "I hope you didn't make it" I joked. "Nope of course not, Kroger fresh!" Jo replied laughing.

"You're just in time to help peel the potatoes, you too Morgan" Mark called them into the kitchen earning sighs all around.

"So how are you and Will doing?" Auntie Mer asked. "Really good, stronger than ever. Now that we know his dad's okay he seems a lot better" I smiled talking about my boyfriend.

-------

"So tell me Morgan how are you liking highschool?" Aunt Maggie asked in between chopping veggies. "It's fun it just sucks cheer is ending soon" I sighed, "but I guess that means more time at the hospital"

"have you thought about career options?" she wondered, that one cut deep. When I was little I always wanted to be a neurosurgeon, then as I got older a cardio surgeon.

But now I feel like since I've spent so much time in the hospital maybe I don't belong there. "No I'm still looking at my options" I nodded.

-------

"Are you okay?" I asked seeing my Aunt Lexie taking deep breaths. "Are you okay Lex?" I ask softly. "Yeah, fine, baby is just kicking" she explained with a light smile.

"Why don't you try talking to it talking helps" Lexie encouraged. "I mean I can try" I offered shrugging, a little embarrassed.

"Hey um little boy or girl, whatever you are. It's your cousin Morgan. Hows it going in there? oh uh wow" I stopped hearing Lex now laughing.
