23. Blossoming

I rubbed my eyes to see a tall figure hovering over me. "AHH" I screamed in fear. "Relax Princess! It's just me, your mom sent me to wake you up!" Will chuckled.

"That's so not funny!" I groaned. "It is! Especially your bed head" Will leaned in to mess it up even more. "Stop! Go away" I growled, I'm not a morning person.

"Your wish is my command" he smirked walking towards the door. "No wait don't leave" I whined. "Make up your mind M!" He scolded jokingly.

    "Help me up!" I help my hands out while he pulled me from the bed. "What time is it?" I wondered. "It's like 6:15, which means you have about an hour" he handed me my hairbrush.

    "Hm" I nodded brushing my hair in the mirror. He pushed my hair behind my ear whispering, "I'm going down before your mom gets mad, hurry down."

    I curled my hair and put on my cheer uniform, a game day tradition. I looked at myself in the mirror just not feeling good about my self. Ultimately I just had to sigh and move on.

I sat at the table with Will passing the minutes by until it was time to go. "Momo can you help me?" Ellis asked, looking up at me holding her shoes. "Of course baby come here" I held out my hands to pick her up and sit her on my knee.

"You're really good with her" Will noticed, as I tied her shoes. "Thank you," I smiled "okay Ellie Belly now you are ready to go" I sat her back on the floor. "Thank you Morgan, I love you" she giggled. She was slipping through my fingers, she was getting so big.

I love you too El, forever and always" I hugged her. "You're really something Morgan Shepherd" Will grinned.

"Happy first game sis!" Taisa greeted as Will walked in together. "I'll leave you to it" Will bowed his head. "Byeee I'll see you" I laughed.

   "Sleepover?" Taisa questioned laughing. "Girllll it's not like thattt. He has nowhere to go" I insisted, "he literally slept on the couch!"

    "And what were you guys doing before he went to the couch?" She wondered smirking. No reply. "Aha!" she exclaimed, "I knew it"

    "Don't get too cocky because there's nothing going on" I fought it. "Morgan. I love you, but are you dumb? That boy's heart beats for you! Go get your man!" She emphasized.

    "I've only known him for like a week!" I argued. "So? Romeo and Juliet got married after like two days!" Taisa exclaimed, "don't take too long Moe you could lose him."

    "Again it's been a few days!" I repeated. "I'm just saying! Don't let him go."

    I walked to the hospital alone, Will had stuff he wanted to get from his own house. "First game tonight, huh?" Auntie Mer smiled pulling my hair to the front, "are you excited?" "Yeah i guess" I shrugged.

    "Oh your mom asked me to send you to her when you arrived" she recalled. "Do you know where she is?" I questioned. "She should be in the CT room if I remember correctly" she clenched her teeth.

I followed the hallways to where I presumed my mom would be. "Hey" I said sliding open the door. "Hey, come sit. How was your day?" She pulled over the other rolling chair. "It was good, what time are we leaving for the game?" I asked. Her face seemed to drop.
