"TOWELS WE NEED TOWELS!" Mark screamed, a chaotic scene unfolding in the kitchen. Maggie was rushing to pull the kids away. The adults were all huddling around my Aunt.

"Well we didn't see that one coming" Andrew commented, we were stood back in the door way not wanting to be in the way. "What do you think the chances are she's going to be having this baby right here on the floor?" I asked.

"I'd say pretty good considering I just heard Addison say she can see the head" he pointed. "Oh goody!" I laughed.

"We didn't even get to open presents!" I huffed. "And we probably won't tonight, but at least we're all together, huh?" he shrugged.

"Yeah that's the true meaning of Christmas, well I mean that and the birth of Jesus, but still being together is part of it" I agreed.

-------

Within the hour two twin girls had been born, each perfect and looking just how Lexie had once before.

"So do we have names yet?" Meredith smirked. "Lily Susan and Emma Elizabeth" Lexie revealed, Susan was her mother's name, and now it's coming back around.

"They're perfect" Arizona smiled. "Thank you so much Addison" Lexie chuckled. "Of course it was my pleasure" Addie replied.

"Sorry about your floor" Mark apologized. We might need new floors after this one. This flood has had way too much gunk on it so it's about time.

They were the perfect family. A traditional family. The kind I was supposed to have. The kind I could have had.

-------

Once things started to calm down someone began knocking at the door. "Morgs can you get that??" Meredith requested. "Yeah!" I yelled back rushing to the door.

"Morgan" the person behind the door said. "What the hell do you want, Jakob?" I questioned. It wasn't nice to see him anymore. It wasn't summer and he wasn't my best friend anymore. Not anymore.

"I know, I know you're not happy to see me, and I know Will won't be either" he sighed. "Will isn't here" I huffed.

"Oh he wen't home already?" he asked. "No, we broke up" I admitted. "Oh. I'm sorry M. He made you happy didn't he?" he sympathized. I wasn't sure what would be right in this situation so I just nodded.

"Well I was just coming to give you this" he confessed handing me a small box with an envelope on top. "I got it before everything, and it wasn't doing me any good at home" he laughed slightly.

"Well thank you, you didn't have to walk all the way here. It's freezing" I smiled. "Yeah but it was fine" he looked down, "I hope I see you again." "you will" I assured. I hope.

-------

I was still shivering from the cold when I retreated back to my room, anxious to read the contents of the envelope. I carefully tore back the paper as if that would help anything between him and I. Lo and behold there was a handwritten letter.

Dear Morgs,
The realization at what I did is eating me alive everytime I see you smile. I thought it would make me feel better to piss off Will. I wanted you to see the worst in him, see a part of him resemble me and my temped, but there was nothing wrong about him. He stayed calm. It was clear he a much better man than I would never do the things that I had done. Ever since that day I left you hanging on your porch I felt sick, like almost sick enough to throw up. I was disgusted by myself. I didn't even want to look at myself because I never thought I'd have to go through life without you by my side. Now I don't want to make things any harder for you so I'm not gonna try anything funny on you and him, it would be unfair to you. You don't deserve someone like me. Your too good. But I miss you. Call it friends? If not I'll be okay. Just wanted to hear your voice, see that smile.

Have a good Christmas.
Take care of yourself,
Jakob

Jakobs letter shocked me. He never thought he could change but clearly he did. He had become humble and calm, he was growing up. So was I. We were both getting older. And aren't grudges childish anyway?

I moved over to the box unknotting the bow. His mom probably tied it. I knew my mom missed his mom but they stopped hanging out after what went down, and thats not fair to Mom either.

The contents of the box were revealed. A beatuful gold locket. I thought that was it till I saw the engraving. It was small but I immediately caught it. A star he always said the stars were jealous of the way my eyes shined. I knew he put a lot of thought to it. But could this be fixed?
