We are walking to the grand hall room. The sound of my bare feet hitting the cold stone floor echoes throughout the corridors. Jin offered me shoes, but I much prefer to be bare foot. He donned his long coat again and placed a crown that is similar to mine on his head. He wants to formally introduce me to the other Kings of the Dark Region.
To be honest, I feel a bit overdressed. Two guards open the double doors for us and bow. They shut the doors behind us as we enter. I look up at the men sitting in thrones on a podium. Reverie smiles and waves at me. Azrael nods in recognition at me. He must not be a talker like his father is. The other two stare down at me, us not bring introduced. A guard comes over to announce our arrival.
"Presenting Jin, King of the Vampires and Lunella, Queen of the Vampires," he says to the others.
I look towards Jin confused, "how can I be Queen of the Vampires when I'm not one?"
"Because you'll be married to me," he says as if I should know this.
I make a sour face, the title not quite sitting right with me. He looks at me confused. "Do you want a different title?"
"One that makes sense would be nice. I can't be Queen of something that I'm not. It doesn't sound right," I tell him.
"We will work on it. How about we just call you the Dark Queen for now," he asks me with a smile.
"Sounds evil sounding but sure," I say with a shrug of my shoulders.
Jin steps forward to introduce me to the other Kings. "You already know Rev and Azrael. This is Pan, King of the Shadows," he says as he points to the man with pretty green eyes. The man stares at me and I curtsy to him. "This is Luka, King of the Lycans." Jin says as he points to the blonde man. He regards me with a nod as I curtsy to him as well.
"Everyone, this is my fiancé, Lunella," Jin says as he looks at me proudly.
"I have a bone to pick with you Lunella," Pan says to me in an irritated tone.
I tilt my head at him. "May I ask why?"
The double doors open, and guards have my creatures tied in chains. They all snap their teeth and growl and screech at them, and I run over to them to calm them down. "Hey! Let them go!" I tell the guards, and they drop the chains.
I bend down to untangle everyone, and they tackle me in licks and wagging tails and happy clicking sounds. I laugh at them as I pat their heads. "It's alright everyone. I'm here," I tell them as I stand up.
"That's the shit I'm talking about. Why do you have one of my Shadow Dogs that went rogue?" Pan asks as he points a finger at me.
"I found him in the Light Region. He is my friend, aren't you Bandie?" I say as I scratch his chin and his back leg kicks in delight.
"That's where I'm confused. You shouldn't be able to tame one of them. I am the only one who can control the beasts," Pan says as he glares at me.
