I am to be crowned as a Queen today. I've been nervous all morning. I have practiced the ceremony a dozen times but I'm still so nervous I'll mess it up. I'm not born into royalty, so my etiquette is shabby at best. Jin has tried to encourage me but it doesn't help much. In the time that it took for the coronation ceremony to come, I have been tasked with finishing wedding preparations and reception preparations as well as making sure all of the guest rooms in the castle were cleaned and decorated for the unholy number of noble guests that are coming. Thank Gods this is a big ass castle.
I was finally able to get off of bedrest by the doctor which is great because I was starting to go stir crazy. Roc would try and sneak me out of my room to walk the halls, but it never lasted as long as I wanted it to. Even though I was nervous, I was also excited too. I would see Jin's parents again as well as his nanny. I would also meet Pan's Queen, Wendy. Luka's siblings would be in attendance, Reverie's parents and Azrael invited Lucifer, much to my constant pleading to. I can still remember our conversation about it.
"Are you serious Luna?" Azrael had asked me.
"Yes! Invite your father!" I tell him.
"Do I have to?" he grumbled and whined.
"Pretty please! I'll owe you a favor later if you want," I told him.
He grinned deviously at me as he bent down to my level and placed his face inches from my own. "Oh really? I'm afraid you can't offer me what I want," he said.
I somehow got the impression he was trying to intimidate me, so I stood my ground with him. "What do you want?" I asked.
"Your children..." he whispered to me in a sinister voice.
I titled my head at him and arched one of my eyebrows. "Really?" I asked.
He began to laugh deeply and shook his head. "Gods no! I'm a demon sure, but I'm not a child murderer!" he laughed.
"Then...what do you want?" I asked him.
"I heard you can cook," he said.
I nodded my head at him.
"All I require is that you make me something sweet. Something worth it to deal with my father for a few days," he tells me.
"I think I can handle that," I said with a smile.
So, I did. I made him a honey champagne apple tart and he ate the whole thing in one go. He had told me it was worth it. Who knew the King of Demons had a sweet tooth. Sweet fangs. Whatever the hell kind of teeth he has.
I was pacing around in my bedroom. Coralie had already done my makeup and was attempting to do my hair, but I couldn't sit still for her to do it properly. I had a simple black slip on my frame as I kept take glances at the luxurious gown and cape I was set to wear. I could hear servants running around rampantly outside the door along the corridors, frantically trying to do last minute things for the ceremony. Roc was standing against the wall, eyeing me with sadistic amusement at my frenzied state.
