The Queen

Lyre runs past Coralie in the corridor and halts to a stop. Another wave of pain takes hold of me, and I can't help but cry out at the intensity.

"Coralie! Go get the Kings! Something is wrong with Luna! I'm taking her to her room!" Lyre yells at her and then takes off running again.

"Oh...right away Sir Lyre!" Coralie says and runs down the opposite end of the corridor to find the Kings that are here.

Lyre brings me to my room and sets me down on my feet. I suddenly feel so hot and sweaty, and I want to take this heavy ass gown off of me. I kick off my shoes, not caring where they land and grab a short black nightgown with thin straps to help me cool off. I turn my back to Lyre and move my hair.

"Will you please unzip my dress? It's so hot in here," I ask him, and he does it on command.

I shed the dress off of me, not caring that Lyre can see me in my panties with no coverings over my breasts. It's not like he hasn't seen it before. I struggle to put the nightgown on, and Lyre comes to help me slip it on my body. The moment it is on me comfortably, another wave of this agonizing pain takes over and it almost brings me to my knees as I cry out. 

"What is happening?" Lyre whispers out as his hands hover over me. He wants to help me, but he doesn't know how. I don't even know how at this point. 

Coralie comes rushing into the room as she throws open the double doors. Reverie, Azrael and Luka are right behind her as they file into my room. 

"What is going on?" Azrael asks Lyre as the pain lifts from me, and I gasp out for breath. 

"I don't know. We were in the caves with the dragons and all of a sudden, she started clutching her belly and moaning out in pain. It came out of nowhere," he explains. 

Coralie covers her mouth with her hand and gasps. We all look toward her, and I lift my head weakly as I breathe heavily. 

"Do you know Coralie?" Luka asks her and she nods slowly. 

"The Queen is going into labor," she whispers. Another wave of pain overtakes me, and I can't help but yell through it. 

"Fuck!" I yell as I moan in pain and clench my teeth together. 

"Jin isn't back yet. What do we do?" Reverie asks. 

Coralie ties her red hair back in a low bun and rolls up her sleeves. "Please forgive my rudeness but time is essential right now. King Reverie, you will have to fly and go find King Jin and the others. They should be heading back by now from the Vampire Territory. I pray they aren't too far away. King Azrael, I need you to go find the castle doctor and bring him here immediately. King Luka, I need you to go find some maids and tell them to gather all of the towels they can find and as many large basins as they can and fill them with hot water," she tells them with no nonsense in her tone. 

"Have you done this before Coralie?" Luka asks her with an arched brow.
