Ch - 24 : Chunin Exams : The Preliminary Rounds

If you thought that Naruto was even going to give a flying f*ck about Iruka's speech or some important message written on the board behind him, then you're dead wrong. He just beat Orochimaru, baby. And not just any Sannin but a Sannin who worked for the Organization. Fuck the message, Naruto arrived a day early to rest and enjoy the day. Let's party baby!!! Party time. Naruto immediately took out the ramen cup from his pouch and when no one was looking, Naruto made a Fire Style : Rasengan, heating the water, preparing his ramen.

This was the true and glorious purpose of Rasengan. To help to prepare ramen. What can be more glorious than this?

Naruto was about to dig in when someone interrupted him by knocking on his team's room door. Basically every team was assigned a personal room for those who arrived early. So even now, there were 24 hours left until the Second Phase of Chunin Exams were to be over. Sasuke gave Naruto a look and Sakura looked like she couldn't even move an inch, so Naruto being the good boy he was, went to open the door. Mind you, he took his ramen with him in case Sakura or Sasuke ate it. As soon as he opened the door, he found Team 10 at the door. More specifically, he found Choji's round face, way too close to the door frame to his comfort with a bubbly Ino and Shikamaru who wanted to be anywhere but here.

Nope.

Not happening.

Naruto slammed the door on Choji's face, flattening his nose.

"Ow!" He heard Choji's voice from outside.

Sakura cracked open her one eye. "Who's there?" She asked Naruto. Naruto pondered a little before he replied. "Room service." He shrugged his shoulders for dramatic effect. "Annoying room service." Sakura nodded as she drifted back to her dreamland. Then came a knock.

*Knock*

*Knock* * Knock*

*Knock* * Knock*

*Knock*

Naruto's eyebrow twitched. He wanted to have his ramen. Why was that so hard to understand?

"Sasuke-kun ~" He heard the voice outside. Like damn girl, ever heard of privacy. Like they just came here and were dead tired. Just get the hint and go away.

"Sasuke-kun ~, open up." He heard Ino's voice again. His eyebrow twitched again as he took out some earplugs and put it in Sakura's and Sasuke's ear. They were clearly exhausted and needed some much deserved rest. The experience must have taken a great toll on their body, both physically and mentally. But he also ignored her as he continued to eat his ramen. After some time, the noise stopped. Naruto finally sighed in relief. Looks like she left. So keeping his back on the door, Naruto took out the strand of his long delicious ramen and was about to eat it when-

*BAM* *BAM*

His precious ramen strand fell on the floor. All right, now he was mad. Ramen was way too much divine to touch the floor. His eyes blazing with righteous fury, Naruto stood up and opened the damn door. He saw Ino, Choji (with his red swollen nose) and Shikamaru with the same 'I don't wanna be here' expression standing in front of it. Also, there was Team 8 here as well. Naruto looked at them for a moment before he stepped out of the room and closed the door behind him so that Sasuke and Sakura won't get disturbed.

"What is it?" He asked in a snappy tone.

"Woah! Rude much." Ino said in a fierce tone. Naruto's patiance was running out and he clearly wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible. So he just politely smiled.
