A way we can invest a large amount of yōki is if he gets our abilities i.e. the abilities of the 10 of us tailed beasts. He kept forward the proposal. Naruto quickly dried off his tears and nodded. Returning to his original self, he tried to give a assuring and big warm grin to Kurama and the others. It wasn't their fault to begin with. The tailed beasts were always treated harshly. Even after they left humanity alone, the humans selfishly tried to use them for their personal lust and greed for power.

Trapping their souls in humans to make a living weapon. Treating them like monsters even after being monsters in their own rights. Never accounting for their feelings, no wonder Son Goku felt weird when Naruto thanked him. They never knew what human love was, what was kindness & what is meant by unconditional love. Naruto was fed up just after living a few years of his life and wanted to give up unlike the tailed beasts who are immortal and god knows how long it has been since they've been tortured.

Naruto didn't wanted them to feel sad. So, he tried to give his best reassuring grin, although it was failing miserably. Or one could say that he was reassuring himself more than the others present there.

Of course the tailed beasts noticed it. Naruto was staring at his palms. He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. Quickly Naruto used his palms to slap himself on his cheek.

Everyone was quite baffled with what he did. His cheeks were red from the quite hard slap he gave himself. His cheeks stinging as a few drops of tears escaped his eyes.

Brat. Kurama called out to the Naruto who was engrossed in his own world. But Naruto didn't respond.

Naruto-kun. Matatabi sweet voice cut in between them both but she was also unable to get a response out of Naruto-kun.
