Ch - 18 : The birth of mysterious Shinobi: Aftermath

A mysterious masked man calling himself Shinobi saving everyone from fire and disappearing afterwards without even a trace made some great news and gossip. It was the latest gossip talk of Konoha. Everyone and every news channel was influenced by the news of this mysterious masked man. Meanwhile, Naruto was unaware of the aftermath of his great deed.

The whole village was buzzing with the news of masked man. Several victims of fire and children were asked to give interviews on T.V.

One of those interviews-

He said that he was Shinobi and he was a friend. He was really skilled and he could do magic. He could produce anything from his hands.

This started a new rumor among civilians that he was a God that came in Konoha to save the poor souls of children and maybe Minato Namikaze was reborn.

The rumors were getting more and more bullshit. And in the front of her flower shop was Ino who was soaking every information about the masked man in glee and was throwing away whatever information she was getting. The Yamanaka princess was also interested in this prince charming wearing a mask and saving everyone without taking the credit.

"Yeah and I heard there was a girl as well whom he saved."

"Really. Who?"

"I dunno."

"I heard he's of our age."

"Really."

"Yeah! I'm serious."

Many people especially kids were trying to impersonate masked man. They were so influenced from the news of their friends that they also wanted to meet the masked man. In one week, an official fanclub of Naruto as Masked man started and mainly kids were a part of it with some fangirls.

Konohamaru snorted as the girls in his academy were talking about the masked vigilante. He was sure that his niichan could easily beat the crap out of the guy and make him suck his ass. It was just that he had to take care of his friends and him or else he would have got a chance to shine.

Hmph..... Niichan is still cooler.

Meanwhile the so called niichan was still blissfully unaware of the stunt he pulled. His mind was somewhere else. He was thinking that if he had completed the Rasengan earlier in his training, he could have saved everyone without the help from Tenten and she would have been just fine.

So time to practice the Rasengan. For that he already bought lots of normal balloons as he already inflated them. Not it was time to finally get started.

He put the inflated balloon in his palm.

Alright. Calm down.

The third step of the training was to combine both the first and second step which is rotation and power of chakra.

Yosh. Let's do this.

He used a bit of his chakra and the balloon didn't even last a second. He didn't even start any one of the things. Neither rotation nor the power. He just poured ¼ of ⅛ of the drop of his chakra and the balloon disintegrated like it was never there.

"It's really going to take alot of time."

Good thing Naruto was not near Konoha or any training grounds. He was in a dense forest far behind the Hokage Mountain. Here the old man couldn't use his crystal ball to locate him either. Plus for some reason, patrols were less. So they wouldn't notice the vast amount of chakra he was releasing.
