Yo. Let's get started.
____________________________________________________________________Naruto was washing his carpet. Don't laugh!
Do you have any idea how hard it is to wash a long thick carpet with dust and hair tangled all over it?! It's a nightmare. Especially when you have to do it without scrubber. Just use your fingers and nails and take out each strand of hair you find......ugh! That's a tough job. Oh! You want to know what happened with the match.
Oh come on! That's not necessary at all.
Oh it is?
Alright then!
Few hours before,
Sakura mumbled something in her sleep. Her eyes started to flutter before she woke up with a gasp. She looked around as everyone was staring at her. Oh! Yeah, she remembers now. She lost to Kiba. Naruto didn't even come to cheer her up. Heck, he wasn't here.
She looks around. Naruto has still not come. Was his match over already? Did she miss it?
"Kakashi-sensei!!! Naruto -"
"Look at the board Sakura." Kakashi signed towards the board. Sakura quickly got up as she looked at the electric signboard.
Naruto Uzumaki vs Ino Yamanaka
Sakura worriedly looked around for Naruto. Where was he? He wouldn't miss his match, would he? Absolutely not! After her loss against Kiba she would be damned if Ino advanced to the next round. Like hell nah! Ino would never let her live in peace if that happened, always bragging for the rest of her life and gloat on and on. She would just rub salt on the wound by gloating in front of Sasuke. No.
No.
Come on Naruto. Where was he? Ino grinned at her and Shikamaru smirked a little.
"Yes!" Ino cheered. She was afraid if she got someone from the Sand or the Sound. Both were filled with crazy people. Only two shinobi were there from Konoha who remained, Lee and Naruto. And she already saw Lee in action. And it was fair to say, Lee simply outclassed her. In strength, speed, jutsu- everything. But look at her luck, she got Naruto. The exact guy whom she wanted to fight.
Forehead already lost her fight. That means if she won here then she could not only rub it in her face but also she could gloat in front of Sasuke-kun. Then he would clearly see how much of a better option was she than Sakura. Maybe he would then ask her out on a date? Kyaaaaahhhh!!! She squealed in her mind.
"You're so lucky Ino!" Choji told her as he munched on some chips. She got Naruto as her opponent. Naruto of all people. Now that was some serious good luck. Naruto was the most weakest ninja here in this competition from the Leaf Village. Man! It would have been so great if he got Naruto as an opponent. He would have absolutely destroyed that guy if he was the opponent. Choji sighed. Rest of the competition was so tough. Anyone who would have gotten Naruto as a competition was lucky. And that lucky shinobi was Ino.
"Both contestants please come down."
Ino proudly walked to the arena, her eyes taunting Sakura. Sakura just gritted her teeth. She was so gonna...... Just where the hell was Naruto?! She impatiently tapped her foot on the floor. Just where was he?
"Uzumaki Naruto?" Hayate called out again. Everyone stared at Kakashi who was nonchalantly reading his Icha Icha book. He snapped his book shut as he stared at Sakura. Sakura just looked around in panic. Ino smirked. Looks like the idiot gave up before the fight started.
"Since Naruto is not here-"
"Just wait a minute. Naruto will be here soon." Sakura called out in worry. Naruto!!! Come on. After coming this far, he wouldn't give up. That wasn't like Naruto.
